Cuts silicon beads very well
Cuts silicon beads efficiently. Should last a long time. Expensive.

Cut like silk like butter
Worked like a charm to remove caulk from around my brick - cut it like butter.

Works well to cut caulk, but be careful of damaging surrounding soft materials
I purchased this to cut out the old caulk in a bathroom (paired with my Fein star lock multitool), it works very well at cutting the caulk, but you'll still need to go through with a razor blade alot of the remnants of the caulk. This works well to act as a pointed tool for it, or to pull side ways. Also consider looking at the scraper choices for caulk removal, I found those worked a little better for my job. I did notice that as a oscillating metal blade, be careful about the surface you are against (especially if its plastic or wood) as it will oscillate into those too.

Perfect for old window renovation
I got this blade with my GOP 40 mutitool, and am blown away how useful it is. It cuts out caulk and dried up paint easily. Using it, I managed to free up numerous windows that were painted shut. Also used it to remove dried up glazing which it did super easily and without damage to the glass panes. I would note that you need to be careful about trying to make sure it is not angled too much when you are using it, since it did dig in to the wood a couple times when I angled it too much. That said, this tool was a wonder for window restoration. A huge recommend for anyone using the mulitool to remove caulk and renovate old windows.

The only good way I've found to remove dried exterior caulk
This has worked well for removing old hard-dried caulk from exterior brick work and aluminum window trim / flashing. It's still hard work and takes a good bit of aggression, but the multi-tool blade is 10x faster than using a putty blade and utility knife. (And chemical caulk removers do nothing for hard-dried caulk, so don't waste your time.) It would have been nice if some instructions were included. Experiment with techniques and make sure you use a high enough RPM. (4000 seemed about right for me)

Works if you have a wide and long caulk bead to remove; I didn't
This works when you have a long, straight, wide caulk bead to remove. If the caulk bead varies in thickness, as in the bathroom I just completed that had caulk inside irregular grout cracks, you may not be able to fit this tool into the crack. If you do have that long, straight, wide caulk bead, this will work well. It can be mounted onto any brand of oscillating tool with no problems. Be patient and go slow. Keep the flat side firmly against the edge of the caulk bead.

Awesome caulk removal attachment for a multi-tool
I love this attachment for my multi-tool. Fits perfectly, and works very well to remove soft materials, like caulk, just as described. It's well made, and does its job well. There is a bit of a learning curve when initially using it, but once you realize how it works, you'll find it removes material quickly and efficiently. I would definitely buy it again, and would recommend it.

Perfect for removing old caulk cleanly
Works very well for removing old silicone and caulking without damaging surrounding surfaces. The Starlock connection feels solid and does not slip during use. Used it on bathroom caulk and around windows with a multitool and it saved a lot of time compared to scraping by hand. Blade stayed sharp longer than expected. A bit expensive for a single blade, but the quality is much better than cheaper generic ones.
