Johnny Morris pro series much better than Ardent!
Gears grind when you reel it. I returned this item and found comparable Johnny Morris reel at Bass Pro Shops. The Johnny Morris reel is so smooth you wouldn't believe, has aluminum frame with brass gears for less money.
