Love It
This is great for my color pencil collections. I’ve bought different colors for different brands.

Not suitable for watercolor markers
Some reviews stated that this worked for different sizes artist tools, including thicker markers. So I took a leap and ordered. The slots are extremely tight and it was quite a challenge to insert my watercolor markers. If you have them right next to another the lids get in the way which makes it even more difficult to remove/insert. And if you space them out you lose storage space.I'm going to try some different methods to possibly stretch it out a bit more. But overall, this case will not work well with anything that has a wider lid. ☹️

Sturdy case that folds flat
I got this pen case to carry my stationery materials for bullet journaling. It was important to me that the case fold flat, with pens easily aligned (and upright, preferably, especially when carried inside a bag) and accessible. It also had to be relatively sturdy and be able to keep its shape, since it would be used daily, and bounce around in a messenger bag full of other items. So far, this case is meeting all of my requirements beautifully. It does fit Staedtler Triplus Fineliners (which tend to be a bit longer than other pens) with room to spare. The loops also accommodate the somewhat thicker Micron pens, though that is about the upper limit in terms of stretch. I also use it to carry loose items like a small pad of Post-Its as well as white out. My scissors are held in place with one of the loops, and a roll of washi tape, with a small eraser tucked inside, fits neatly into the larger loop that is intended to house a pencil sharpener. Despite some of the items not being secured, the zipper does keep everything in place, though I would consider sewing in additional, custom stretchy loops in the future. I was concerned that filling the case -- especially with extraneous items like white out -- would cause it to bulge out, but that has not been an issue at all, per the picture. I love that all of my supplies are on hand and clearly displayed, so that I no longer have to fumble around inside a case where everything is jumbled together. And the best part is that I have so much more room to play with, should I decide to go on another writing utensil bender!

Perfect for my Prismacolor pencils
This case is perfect for my needs. It holds all 72 of my Prismacolor pencils with just the right tightness so they don't fall out but are easy to remove. There are actually 73 slots for pencils and 1 large slot for something else like a sharpener or eraser. Although my manual sharpener is too big for that slot. I like the way it unfolds so I can see all the pencils at once. The zipper works well. The construction seems good, although I've only had it for a day, so we'll see how it holds up in the long run. The size is perfect for the pencils I use. It seems like it has good protection for the pencils for traveling. I'll update this review if something changes, but for now I really like this case and would recommend it.

Just exactly what I ordered
The product arrived on time and in perfect condition. I just filled it with pencils and it held 72 pencils. The zipper is good and the stitching is perfect. There were no defects. I intend to get three more to hold all my colored pencils. Some of my colored pencils are cheap and some are expensive and all the pencils fit well with no problems.I currently have a 72 pencil set of Prismacolor Premier pencils coming and this pencil case is perfect for them. I take them out of the tin box because I have dropped those boxes in the past and broke some of my pencils. Prismacolor pencils are to expensive to allow them to be damaged by accidentally dropping them. This case protects my more expensive pencils nicely but it also protects my cheaper pencils I no longer have cases for. The price of this case does not reflect the quality of this case. Because of the very reasonable price I can now afford to purchase more cases for all the several hundred colored pencils I own. I highly recommend this product and intend to purchase more of them.Update. I now own 4 of these fine pencil cases. I got rid of my cheap pencils and now have one set of Prismacolor premier pencils, one set of Polycromo's, two sets of Arteza Expert pencils and one set of Blick's Studio artist pencils. All of them except the Prismacolor are in these cases. I had to purchase a different case for them as they grew in size. These cases hold 72 pencils very nicely. The zipper's work very good. I've had no problems with them whatsoever. They look nice and protect my pencils. I also put a 48 pen set of Arteza fine line pens and a set of 24 Prismacolor watercolor pencils in one of them. They fit very nicely. I've sense replaced the Arteza pens with another set of 72 Arteza expert pencils. I put the watercolor pencils in with the Prismacolor premier pencils. All in all I'm very happy with these cases and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to house there pencils in nice cases.

Iron on HTV without melting
Feels sturdy and substantial. Zipper glides smoothly. I made an iron on label with the Cricut and this case took the vinyl beautifully, no melting. I put a 60 set of Albrecht Dürer and three water brushes inside (I also put 12 larger Inktense pencils in for the picture) and placed a color chart between the pencils that would otherwise be touching. I do feel that it’s priced a couple dollars over what it should cost, considering for about $5 more you can get a case full of 72 decent student grade pencils (if you need inexpensive pencils I would do that instead), but I like being able to see all the colors at the same time and this is the only empty one I can find made like that so, here we are. Now I’m going to need 4 or 5 more of these.

great pencil case but came damaged.
I like how the pencil slide in and out easily in this case. But my case came with an indentation mark all the way across one side. It was not packaged well for delivery. It looks like something was set heavy on the package and made the Mark indentation.

Hold's a 72 set of prismacolor pencils no problem.
I kind of covered it in the headline, got one for the prisma pencil set and two for the 120 castle set and a 4th for graphite pencils and a few pastel chalk pencils. Line everything up nice and neat and it closes well. No longer living with the flimsy trays in the art sets.
