Using this as a flight helmet bag. You can fit a AH64 helmet + vest + ccel + nvg visor + pubs bag including knee board, checklist and more. Easy to clean with soap, water and a brush.

I hardly ever give a 5 star rating but in my opinion this bag deserves it. I examined it before I used it and the quality is what you expect from Maxpedition. The layout is very functional and well designed. Everything has a useful purpose and when I recently went to the mountains on a 4 day trip I used every compartment on it. It can hold a good amount of clothing and gear - more than I expected. I actually had room to spare. I bought the gray color and am very pleased with it. The bag is not cheap, matter of fact it’s rather expensive but I have no regrets with my purchase. With normal use I expect that it will not need to be replaced. I definitely would buy it again and highly recommend it. I no it’s not for everyone but if you’re in the market for a bag like this check out the YouTube videos and compare this with others before you make a purchase. I am very well pleased.

Love Maxpedition products & love this bag. It was smaller than I expected, but did what I needed. Fits a PASGT helmet with full face shield, full face gas mask in a case with extra canisters and still some room in the main compartment for incidentals. Its got clean lines, not a bunch of frills on the outside to snag. The handles are in the right places & beefy. Great heavy duty/fat zippers with maxped pulls. I only wish it had a few more expandable pockets on the outside to compartmentalize different gear and keep the bag simple. Adding a molle attached bag on the outside would make it look bulky. This is really a "main compartment" kind of bag. The 4 compression straps and buckles on the outside are great for slimming the profile down.

My new favorite bag. Used to use a Maxpedition Doppeldoffer until it met with an unfortunate accident. Been using a few different tactical bags since but nothing compared to the quality that Maxpedition put out. Once I saw this I knew I had to give it a shot. It's even better than my old bag. Much more comfortable to wear as a backpack but, even more space. The extra pockets specifically designed for laptops and tablets on the outside make it much easier when going through security checks. The new mesh pockets on the inside are also a nice design change. My favorite though is that it no longer has the hump on the top like the Doppeldoffer had. It used to be impossible to get that into overhead when the bag was full. No problem with this one. Slides right in even on the smaller jets. Best travel bag ever.

It's a bit smaller than advertised. The length and width are spot on but the height is dubious IMHO. Maybe if you completely stuff the thing so that the zippers are stressed you could measure the handle on the top as sticking up to 11". I'd say it's more like 9.5" realistically.That said, the top and two end handles are very thin. They're thinner than my index finger. The top-side (main) carry handle is nice and beefy though. All the handles seem like they'll hold up nicely .Only the main compartment zippers have the lock rings. All the others do not have lock rings. I find that irritating.Still unsure if it's worth keeping. It's a good bag that's just over promising and not delivering on some of the basic features that I like to have. I'll try packing all my stuff in it and see how it goes.

This is a hardcore bag for hardcore adventure. Every seam and stitch is over-built, weight-bearing points are heavily reinforced. Handles, zippers and pull-loops are high-grade, fast-access design. Interior space has been well laid-out for an 8-10 day haul, (depending on packing). Worn clothes and boots are separated from fresh gear. Internal space is adjustable to section-off specific loads, e.g. shoes from shirts, electronics from wires. A front-side, lap-top pocket (zippered and padded against baggage trauma) allows immediate access. Unlike standard backpacks, this bag opens clam-shell style, making everything accessible on-the-fly, (pop the compression straps, grab what you need and GO)! The design works equally as an over-the-shoulder suitcase. It's a rough-roads travel-pack for the civilized traveler.

Love this bag. The quality, size, engineering in reference to all the multiple pocket/compartments are well thought out. If it isn’t over packed you can easily sneak on a aircraft as meeting their carryon dementions. Other wise instead of this model they have a carryon called the iron Cloud which is slightly smaller

The deciding zippers inside zip up but have no way of staying in place. Seems like the just wiggle down on their own on use. No way to lock the compartment where my expensive MacBook Pro will be, sadly. You can lock the main compartment but not the computer pouch?? Bag is way smaller than I thought it would be. I may look into a return on this item. Maxpedition use to be much better made and thicker materials. My last product by them unless its a velcro universal holster or something like that.

Bag is as designed solid and useful. Watch the reviews on the tube, it's a good bag. For under £100 for a bag of this quality? Result!Edit: it's back to over £200 now, and around £300 for one colour.Worth £95? Yes!!!Worth £300? Hmmmmm

Sturdy, bombproof, reliable. This is a fantastic bag - I got a good deal on the coyote color which made it worthwhile. If I had to pay the normal price it would be at least 20-30% too expensive. HOwever, it is something that will essentially last forever.

The item sent was a counterfeit, it was not the item as described. I don't know what the make actually was, but it certainly wasn't a Maxpedition bag.

Excellent piece of kit and manage to great a massive deal

Appears bit smaller than shown in the pictures and signs of loose stiches etc which gives me a feeling that it's a bit defective. Expected a perfection from maxpedition
