The Hellbound Volume 1

This horror manwha was almost too dark and tense for me, aaaaahhhhh! But I'm so glad I persevered. (And that I took a break between the two books.) I loved so many of the characters, spent the whole time with my heart in my throat waiting for another terrible thing to happen, and felt completely drained at the end. Good stuff!

I read it really fast. I couldn’t put it down. I instantly bought the second volume. My biggest complaint was having to wait for the second volume. More my vault then theirs. I should have read into that. Haha. But Amazing book. Read it.

The story is interesting and I'm curious to see what happens next volume.However, the artist got very lazy, very frequently. A LOT of the panels are simply photos run through a filter, and on the occasions when the artist also drew in those panels, the line-work is sloppy. This makes the art rather uneven and a single page can vary from quite good to quite bad depending on the panel. It was jarring and occasionally took me out of the story.
