I was looking for a pot to replace the original pot that had the toxic non-stick coating on it (Cuisinart pressure cooker Model CPC-600). After reading other reviews, I tried it the first time using just water and set it for High Pressure cooking like I always do. As the previous reviewers noted, the pressure relief valve lifted. I suspected that it was due to the thicker bottom on this stainless steel pot that would continue to release heat after the heating element shut off. So, the second time, I set it to Low Pressure cooking for 3 minutes. After that pressure was achieved, I set it to High Pressure and it worked fine. My procedure now (I almost always am cooking meat), is to set the meat on the counter to allow it to warm up, preheat (in the pot) any water or sauce that I am using, put everything in the pot and set it to 3 minutes Low Pressure cooking (to allow everything to do the majority of the heating), and (when the Low Pressure pressure has been achieved) I will set it to High Pressure cooking just as I always did. This little extra effort is worth it to be able to stop using the original toxic pot so I highly recommend this pot. (This pot comes with 2 sealing rings. I have not tried them as my old sealing ring is still working fine.) Customer Service: The first pot I received had some pitting inside the bottom of the pot at the corner so I decided to return it. My replacement pot arrived within two days (before I had even gotten the first pot back to the UPS store for return). Great customer service!

Thank you to ZoneFly for this amazing product. About six months ago I found a used Pressure Cooker XL 6QT on the marketplace for super cheap. It was so affordable I thought I came out ahead... though... I hit a brick wall. I started noticing a change in my health and, after six months, began noticing the bottom of the pot was looking discolored. It occurred to me that the non-stick coating on the original liner was leaching into my food and making me sick. I tried a Insta Pot liner though it wasn't tall enough. I found this pot and ordered it - even with free shipping it came in two days with a sweet handwritten note from the seller thanking me for shopping with a small business. I am literally eating my first meal with it as I'm writing - jasmine rice and it's amazing. Thank you for not only a great product though also a product that's not toxic.

I received the stainless steel replacement pot yesterday and immediately put it in the cooker with a new seal. The pot pressurized and cooked without issue! I am pleased to be able to use my appliance without contamination of my food by the non stick pot that came with it. The new seals are stiffer than the seals that came with the pot but they work fine.

I wish I could return this, but I had to use it to find out it doesn't work. I wanted a new insert for my Cuisinart pressure cooker and I thought this would do the trick. I sprung for the one with the rings because mine was old and discolored. Now my pressure cooker no longer pressurizes. Steam comes out constantly and the time never moves. It worked a little better with my old insert and the new ring, but still leaks steam. The worst part is, I threw out the old ring, so now I can't even go back to my old insert. I had to buy a new pressure cooker! Total waste of money! I hope this is helpful to someone else out there!

I JUST got this replacement pot and used it tonight. I already love it! The original pot had a textured bottom that was hard to clean. This stainless steel pot is easy to clean, fits perfectly, and I love that I could also refresh my seals. This will help prolong the life of my Power XL pressure cooker.

The specifications are 18/8 stainless steel (304 grade) is considered safe, non-toxic, and non-reactive for food, containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel, it is highly durable, corrosion-resistant, and does not typically leach harmful materials into food . This is why I purchased this one specifically ,the original one that came with my pressure cooker had a Teflon coating which is very harmful, so I'm hoping this one will do its job , I just received it and haven't used it yet but will update later

The pot works great but the seals were not compatible unfortunately. I tossed the packaging so I couldn’t return.
