Great tool for the toolbelt
Makes measuring a whole lot easier, well worth the price if you have to fumble with a tape measure for long distances often. Easy to use and adjustable the settings.

It’s a good tool for measurements. However you should know the offset.
It’s a good measurement tool. But caution on the accuracy. Once you know the offset from the accuracy , you can include it in you measurements every time. Besides that it’s a good quality tool. It fits in your pocket and quick to measure the distance. For the price with the discount it’s a good buy.

Learning curve needed and instructions terrible
This seems to be a good product but there is a relatively steep learning curve involved here. It's not just "point and shoot" as they saying goes. The biggest issue here is the instruction booklet that comes with it. It's tiny typed and completely inadequate for the first time user. The product is a bit complex to begin with which isn't of itself a bad thing if there is good instruction. But boy, you're really on your own with this one. It's a lot of interpreting ESL, poorly illustrated visuals and a lot of missing space in the booklet. They really need videos and a much more comprehensive better written, better illustrated instruction manual. However, knowing this up front and if you are willing to put in a few hours to learn the product you should be fine.

Read the manual -- Default is that the unit size is part of the measurement unless you change it. It's pretty accurate down to 1'! I didn't check the longer side but if 1' works longer should be less of a problem!
