This is an excellent and very pretty devotional. Well written and encouraging. Perfect gift for yourself or a loved one.

If this book only held the devotion entitled Make Friends, Not Enemies it would be enough! What wonderful, fitting words for today and the world we live in. The even better news is that it does not, there are many many more thought provoking daily devotions. Devotions that will touch your heart and soul and have you seeking the life God intended for you. However, I could very easy see this book be adaptable to a more in-depth study as well. Considering using this devotional for gifts to several sisters in Christ, as I know the entries would indeed bring about blessings to the reader.

It Is Well with My Soul is a devotional dedicated to helping the reader find peace, encouragement, and hope in Jesus. Each devotion is precise—there is a scripture verse, a short explanation and challenge for the reader, as well as a prayer.It is easy to navigate through this book. I found the topics included meaningful to me, and especially applicable right now, with all the anxiety current events have created in our everyday lives. The devotions do not take a long time to read, as they are very brief—this is not an in-depth look at God’s Word, but is a great fit for someone young in their faith or someone working to add a daily quiet time to a busy schedule, or just looking for a nice, uplifting little devotional. I think this would make a great gift.

Very heavy in god focus. Found it a little hard to concentrate on the overall message the book was attempting to get across. Overall the book brought me a message of peace and love and tranquility which is what I am sure the writer was hoping to achieve.
