J Kara Women's Cap V-Neck Beaded Dress

The dress was a perfect fit; 18W petite. 5'3" tall and did not need to shorten. Even wore flats. The beads were a little scratchy underarm until I got them settled right. Purchased the grey and was very very happy.

It is a very beautiful and flattering dress. I bought it in the grey and the dusty blue. The blue is not quite as bright as in the picture, but still nice. The dress is a little tight around the armhole. But doable. The length is perfect to wear with flatter shoes. The style is also good in hiding ones imperfection. Unfortunately, any bigger sizes do not come in petite and would be to long. I guess I need to loose a couple of pounds. All in all, love these dresses. They will be perfect for formal night on cruises.

I really liked the design of this dress and the fabric was okay. The problem with the dress was the poor construction. I found several places were the beads had already come off and several other loose threads where beads were about to come off. If I had wanted to, I suppose I could have reinforced the loose threads and found bead replacements for the missing beads, but I think I can find another dress I'll like just as much or more without needing to fix it first.

Made well but the top was a bit heavy. The dress has a nice flow.

Comfortable for our October wedding!Use the measurements listed by the manufacturer in the description, not the size Amazon “recommends” based on previous purchases. I typically wear a size 12 jeans and an XL top. So I chose the bust size to fit first. Don’t be offended by the dress size being larger! Oh and I am 5’2” and opted for a petite. Umm awesome! Zero alterations needed! How amazing is that!?I will post more pics on wedding day!

The way it looked on me

This dress is beautiful! It hangs nicely and looks and feels like a high quality dress! The light green color is very nice. The picture shows what I would call short sleeves and the description says cap sleeves. I ordered this hoping for the sleeves in the picture, but the dress has shorter cap sleeves. I would rather that it had a zipper but considering it would probably only go on and off once the lack of a zipper would have been okay. I have tried on numerous mother of the bride dresses and this is my favorite. Unfortunately I will be returning this dress only because of the sleeve length. If I could have found a matching shrug/bolero, this would have been a keeper!

Size 10 petite was a perfect fit for my 5 foot 4 inch 130 pound frame. I have large breasts which has been a lifelong problem trying to find a dress that doesn’t fit a sack or make me look ridiculously top heavy. There is no zipper but the dress easily slid over my head and onto my body. The charcoal color is gorgeous. I wish the sequins on the bodice didn’t reflect so my light which made it look a little cheesy. I tried the dress on and wanted to keep it so bad. I waited until the last minute to sadly return it because it just wasn’t going to work for me. I hope I don’t regret it.

Loved the dress but was two sizes too small and no returns, £180 pounds wasted so won't use the company again.

Very well made, no loose or missing beads. I ordered a 14P but was sent a 10P, but funnily enough it fits perfectly. Perfect for formal night on a cruise.

I love this dress! I am 60 years old and purchased it for my son’s outdoor wedding. This dress is more beautiful than the photos can show. It’s elegant and has a youthful look, unlike some mother-of-the bride/groom dresses. The Amazon photos make it look much lighter than it actually is. It’s dusty blue and quite long. I’m 5’5” and it touches the floor with 3” heals on.. The beading makes it a bit heavy, so I’m not sure how it will feel in hot weather. Some of the beading is irregular or asymmetrical when comparing left and right sides, but no one would notice unless they inspected it carefully.
