As always Nora Roberts weaves a wonderful story. The characters believable and mostly likeable, the menace and suspense building slowly but you can't stop reading. Great book from start to finish.

Love reading Nora Roberts books real good story telling.

A decent enough read, but lacking a grip. As much as I love Nora Roberts, this one was a bit of a disappointment for me. I couldn't click with any of the characters and I figured out who the 'bad guy' was from almost the beginning. And the big reveal came off as rushed and a bit of an after thought. For me anyway. And it lacked what Nora is famous for - her dedication to her characters. With her other books you can clearly tell she has researched and fleshed out who her characters are, and what their interests\jobs are. With Olivia she felt like a extra in her own story that came with a Wikipedia page. I was actually more interested in Noah and his family more than the main characters.Still, a nice read to pass the time and one to add to a collection simply because it's a Nora Roberts.

I've read this book twice now. Once I my early 30's when life was hard and I needed distraction. Now in my 50's dealing with loss betrayal and the need to keep walking foward;this story has kept my interest and given me an 'out' when real life got a bit too much.Nora Roberts you and your stories have been life savers for me.ThankyouT. I have read so many of Nora Roberts novels I think they make up a huge selection of my kindle books.This book gripped me from the start, my usual way of reading is to try to find out the villain before the half way but this book kept me guessing until nearly the end.I had two suspects and I am pleased to say one of them was on my list from half way in the book but I kept thinking it’s to obvious.The only think that spoilt it a little bit was the adult Olivia at times I found myself getting annoyed with her, I loved the interaction between Noah and his family especially his mother.All in all it was an excellent story and I had to put it down a few times because I wanted to prolong the suspense of who done it.Buy it you will not be disappointed.

You can always rely on Nora Roberts for gripping stories and realistic characters. Being an English “townie”, I love the descriptions of the Great American Outdoors – easy to imagine being there, even if you don’t want to come across a cougar or a bear. Loved this story. Olivia and Noah are a fabulous combination. I was rooting for them throughout. Doesn’t disappoint.

I loved this book!! Stayed up toò late, started earlier the next morning, neglected all housekeeping chores, as I was drawn into this story, the rhythms so perfect, so engaging. Thankyou
