Xerox N60w Network Touchscreen Scanner

Exacly what you’d expectLarge touchscreen with easy settings like color, duplex, send to email, cloud, USB drive, FTP, Google drive, etc. I included a picture of the scan settings so you can see the layout is simple and has the features you need. Touchscreen reacts well to the touch. Exacly what you’d expect from Xerox. I like the preview of the document before I send it to the destination. Scanned images come out perfect – no dark boaders on the scanned images for example. The speed and paper capacity make this a workhorse. It says you can scan 10,000 pages a day and I beleive it! I set up some short cuts and called thier Tech Support who was very helpful as they showed me a feature called Scan Cast – scans can go to mutltiple destinations. I set up our contracts to scan to email and file storeage to archieve a copy at the same time. I have a setting for guests to scan to USB thumb drive so they can use the scanner without getting me involved. No PC or Mac needed – this is a standalone scanner using a ethernet network cable or WIFI. I did notice a USB cable included in case we wanted to connect to PC and use it’s TWAIN driver. We’ve been scanning straight for a few weeks and appreciate the large 100 page input tray, quite operation and rugged construction.

I purchased this to do stand-alone network scanning of long receipts (2'+) to a SMB share.That is not something this scanner can do.It can only scan long documents when hooked up to a PC via the TWAIN driver.So back it goes. On the plus side, tech support answered quickly and was very helpful.Quality wise, the scans were great.Shame really, it's otherwise a nice scanner.

Although I ended up buying from B&H Video due to issues with this vendor (3rd party vendor-not Amazon). This is a Great Scanner! and Xerox technical support has been VERY helpful with assistance and resolution of a technical issue I discovered. even so far as engineering a software update for me to resolve it. They contacted me almost every day to let me know of their suggestions, ideas and ultimately progress in resolving the issue. I've had great customer service from other tech companies, but Xerox is now tops for customer/tech support in my book.

Works as expected. Great image quality, easy to setup.
