This timer is a good value for the money. The signal is loud enough to hear in a busy kitchen and the display is nice and big. It has a magnet to stick right to a magnetic surface.

My son is almost 3 & has some behavioral struggles when it comes to transitions; especially when he’s engaged with an activity and doesn’t want it to end. He was recently diagnosed with Autism and now I understand why he struggles with that! His speech therapist mentioned using a timer to see if it’d help, so we tested it out for awhile using my phone. That works, but it’s better to have a visual at all times (whereas with my phone, sometimes I need to use it). He was really excited about countdowns and timers I found on YouTube, so I decided to get a cheap kitchen timer. These are PERFECT.Love that you get two of them. I keep one downstairs and one upstairs in his playroom (looks adorable sitting on his play kitchen). Whenever we go up to play, I set the timer. He loves to play with it, so at first I had to put it up out of his reach. After a few weeks he’s gotten better about not messing with it. He even learned a new phrase: “Ten more minutes, please!! BEEEEEEEP!” 🤣It’s really easy to set, and easy enough to see from a distance. Haven’t needed to stick it to the fridge yet. The little stand comes off way too easily on one of them. One of the timers has a louder beep than the other, too…. Quality control issue I’m guessing.🚨 The biggest issue is the back of the battery compartment: it’s loose & constantly falls off. He figured out how to slide it off, so I find the back piece by itself all the time. Since it doesn’t screw on, please keep these up high so your kiddos can’t get to the batteries!!!!Regardless, these have helped keep his transitions a lot calmer!! No more screaming meltdowns when I say we have to end an activity. I also set one whenever he has speech & occupational therapy appointments so he can see how much longer he has to participate.Highly recommend these! Hope this helps. 💙

Does ita job but one of the magnets already fell off. Has to buy some super glue to fix it.

I got this for my elderly dad, who is mostly deaf and keeps missing the oven timer. I can hear this thing beeping from the basement, through two doors and a brick wall with the tv on! Dad can hear it well, even without his hearing aids, and it fits easily in his pocket. Perfect! … if you have good hearing or startle easily, this may not be right for you. It is LOUD!!!

I would like to return a timer. I didn't need two timers.

So the only problem of that the magnet fell out of them. But otherwise good for the price.

Works fine

The timer itself is fine. However, the magnet came off after about 2 minutes of being on my board. A stronger adhesive will do the trick, but they should be aware of this.
