So far so good. Brings life back to my drill and impact again. The cost of new batteries from Makita are ridiculous in price and my only other option was to buy a whole new drill set. There is nothing wrong with my current set. Super strong and bullet proof. So I didn't want to junk them just because of the batteries. Did a little research and found these beauties for an unbeatable price and showed up super fast. I can't remember the last time my drill and impact ran for so long without having to charge them every 5 minutes.

First, let me say the ExpertPower company delivered my battery very quickly by priority mail at no extra cost. It arrived in about 3 days.The battery itself quickly came to full charge in my Makita charger. I use it in my Makita flash light. This battery seems to be the energizer bunny on steroids. I used it daily for 6 weeks, often for long periods of time, and kept expecting it to need a recharge. But it kept going and the light continued to be bright as always. With the Ni-Cads the light would gradually get dimmer but with this NiMh battery it stays bright. It never got to the point where it needed to be recharged but I decided to recharge it anyway figuring it would be good for the health of the battery. And several weeks later it still performs well despite much daily use. I am now curious how long it will go before it actually does need to be recharged. And let it be said this is the first time I have gotten an aftermarket battery that performs this well...most all I have bought in the past have been duds. And I have given up on the expensive Makita branded battery replacements for my various tools after having several poop out within a couple of years. I am expecting this battery to exceed that short life by a good margin. And the low price of this battery is a BIG bonus over those overpriced Makita offerings.Let it be known I'll be baack if this battery does not continue to perform.

I love that it lasts long and uses the original charger that came with my Makita drill. I’m a do it yourself around the house and me battery is enough for me to get things done usually. It charges fast and I’m running it until it dies. For my house and projects work it lasts more than a few days of projects before it needs another recharge. I’m glad I got this battery since the drill itself was still good as new. If your looking for a new battery this one is worth it. Try it like I did you’ll like the performance.
