iCarsoftMB V3.0 Pro Car Diagnostic Case Compatible with Mercedes Sprinter and Smart - Professional Diagnostic Tool

This is V3.0 of the Mercedes specific iSoft mid priced scannerAlthough not quite Star or X.Entry quality it did every test and diagnosis I have need for and is Smart 451 compatibleI tested my A/C system and it confirmed exactly where the fault was allowing me to actively test the compressor clutch and therefore the compressor was fully functioning.It then measured the secondary coolant pressure indicating zero and this a regass was needed.This saved a huge amount of money as I didn't need to take it to a Mercedes or Smart dealer, just Halfords for a free pressure leak test and cheap regass for £80!I also managed to clear historical ESP fault codes which have not since come back.I reckon I have already saved enough in dealer labour charges to cover the cost of this unit and I feel very confident that I can diagnose any future faults should they occurExcellent product for a specific group of cars. All Mercedes, Smart and Maybach...though quite why you'd need the latter as if you're rich enough to own one of those you'd not be diagnosing faults on your driveway 😅Highly recommend five stars but check your car is included on this Mercedes specific model

The iCarsoft III was purchased to force a DPF regen on a 2012 W166 ML, but the unit is poorly engineered and failed to function as expected.iCarsoft support in the US are truly appalling, after six weeks of emailing support@icarsoft, I am still waiting for a response to my last message from over a month ago.I sent a full diagnostic dump from the tool, and got zero response.Unfortunately, I hung-in too long waiting for a useful response from iCarsoft support and missed the returns window, so I am stuck with a useless tool from a company that don't consider customer support to be necessary.I have been in the motor repair industry for over 35 years, and have never experienced this total lack of respoect or concern for a client problem.All I can add is that you avoid the company and their products.

This is an amazing piece of equipment you can read pretty much all if not all modules on the car and the readings the sensors are giving helping to easily diagnose faults and reset engine and other warning lights. Well worth the money.

I bought this for my 2008 mercedes Viano 3.0cdi to reset gearbox and check injectors. Device couldn't even do main basic things but could show fault with my sunroof and electric seats lol.Engine ecu not supported, gearbox ecu not supported(after update could read tcu but still couldn’t reset any adaptation values-again poor software), air suspension- reads the faults and data but can’t do adaptation and many more annoying things its is unable to do.Good device with lot of options when it works for specific vehicle but in my occasion absolutely uselessIf you have w639 vito or viano I would suggest not to buy this device.

We have a small cheap on of these which told us nothing. Has soon as my husband plug it into my mercedes m class it showed ya loads of faults.

Some of the functions don't work. I bought it specifically for the brake bleeding to turn on the ABS. This function is not supported. Some other functions not supported either on a W212 Mercedes E250 Estate

I upgraded my MB2 device bought in 2012 as I had an airbag problem on my CLK cab, and I'd moved up to a W166 ML, the MB2 couldn't or wouldn't resolve the airbag issue. Bought the MB V3 thinking it would be the same but (as with everything) if you want all of the benefits you have to upgrade. I was wrong, this little beauty does everything! Far more than my limited skills. The screen and search are more thorough and it finds every issue. It's a bit harder to use but a sensible person can work it out.
