Perfect!
Works great, color is just as vivid and bright. Easy to install (watched a YouTube tutorial). Did have to reset the SMC to get the touch board to work after installing the new screen, otherwise no issues!

Does not work, not compatible with MacBook pros.
These screen replacements are not compatible with MacBook pros. They do match the size and color perfectly, and I wanted to love this product. It has the Apple logo, says MacBook Pro on the inside, has the same feel and weight as the original as well. They’re about identical. The only problem is they do not work! MacBook pros require their screens to have compatible coding to the laptops. These do not have that. Therefore, the MacBook does not recognize the screen replacement part and will not even send power to the screen. To make sure it was the part, after attaching this replacement, input my original cracked screen back on and my original screen lit up. I ordered two of the replacements to see if it was just the first part that wasn’t working. It turns out it wasn’t the part, it’s the product that lacks proper compatible coding. Therefore, it is not compatible with MacBook pros for replacements.

Great screen; other tools recommended
Ultimately, I’m 100% satisfied with this product. I like to do my own repairs on my electronics but have always been hesitant to repair my own laptops, so I normally maintain insurance on them and let repairs get handled that way. My insurance lapsed on my MacBook Pro and a month later, it got dinged up in travel and the screen went kaput. I’ve had similar things happen before, I put my laptops through the paces, but just send my computer off for a quick insurance fix. No insurance — might as well DIY the fix for a fraction of the non-DIY replacement cost. I’ve got other tools for smaller electronic repairs, so used those as I’ve found repair kit included tools have a tendency to be difficult or break mid-repair. Anyone who does their own electronic repairs should consider keeping their own tools, though that’s my own opinion. The screen replacement was far simpler than I expected, despite the abundance of screw sizes and bits required (use something to keep these in order; missing pieces are not ideal). It took me less than an hour to replace everything with a tutorial video. I was a bit worried about the display quality, but as soon as I turned my computer back on, I was thrilled. My last screen replacement, through insurance, there were these gaps on the edge of my screen that let light through - this screen has perfect edges. My roommate has the same computer, all original parts, and there’s little to no difference in the visual quality. There’s a clear image, no graininess, and the hinge movement is just as smooth as the original screen’s. Overall a wonderful product and one I’ll come back to when I inevitably require another new screen.

Like a boss(Update, spoke too soon)
I was very cautious to do this repair myself, but figured for the price why not. The product is perfect. Came as promised and I installed it and now I have a functional unit again!! So sad story the screen is now an issue. It has a large black area on the left, that runs top to bottom, and lines racing across the screen. It only lasted about 6 months, that is not good! It is still sort of functional, but very dissappointed

Worked & I'm pretty satisfied
Very happy with this replacement. It even came with a small tool kit that I really needed to remove the screws. I almost overlooked it & was going to go out to a hardware store to buy it! You will find great video's on replacing it on youtube. A+

Best option if you are on budget replacement.
After the replacement process , I took my time to test the screen. The screen is a good cheap replacement, camera quality is not that great but can get you away from getting the expensive replacements that are on the internet. I would give the screen a solid 6.5/ 10.

Weird colors but works
Easy installation and works fine, I ended up buying another tool kit to pry open the back panel as that was pretty difficult. The colors however are pretty awful. The contrast is a bit high and the colors oversaturated, not to the point where it's unusable but makes using it for periods of time really bothersome. Tried calibrating the colors and such but nothing helped. It works fine otherwise, though. Edit: Color issue was able to be fixed by setting the color profile to 'SMTPE RP 431-2-2007 DCI (P3)'.

Do not spend money on it.
Simple suggestion, do not buy in any circumstances.
