Works for a 2002 Chevy Avalanche 2500
My dash lights went out, so I ordered his switch. Everything else worked; headlights, parking lights, dome light. Install was straight forward, but not easy for a 78 year old. Dashboard trim was popped off after lowering the steering wheel and gear shift and tilting it forward until it popped out. Old switch popped out. Getting the wiring harness out was very difficult. Putting the new harness in was easy. Popping the new switch in was easy. Getting the dash trim back on and seated was difficult. It took a lot of pushing and hitting it firmly with the heel of my hand. In testing the switch there was no smell of insulation burning like some have reported. All of the functions seem to work including the dash lights.

Switch seems to be of decent quality and worked fine. Lights up a different colour but that didn’t bother me.

Fit right to OEM
Fits and looks like OEM ! Only down side is that the lights are blue compared to the OEM Green . They work flawlessly . If you’re looking to just do a quick replace I would definitely buy but be weary the light colour will be blue and not factory OEM green .
