ARCTICAlpine 23 - Compact AMD CPU cooler for AM4, Thermal compound MX-2 pre-applied, Computer, PC - Black

To the people who are having problems installing this cooler, mine had 2 screws holding the metal clips on that fit to the motherboard, all I had to do was loosen the screws then it fits on the motherboard clips easily, then you need to tighten the screws up to pull the cooler tight to the cpu, fits perfect and easily.

The thermal paste that came already applied was dry and crusty so i had to remove it or risk overheating. Was a bit finicky to put in at first but alittle bit of patience got there in the end. Its pretty quite so far and have not had issues since its installment 3 days ago. Works on my Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and Asrock b450m Pro 4 Motherboard. For the price of £12 I would recommend but i got it for £10 on a sale.

Unable to clip the cooler on the cpu, gave up when it looked like it wasn’t going to clip when I applied more pressure and was concerned the motherboard might get damage. This CPU cooler definitely does not fit AM4 motherboards, the two plastic clips/wings don't reach the mounting hooks on the motherboard at all. Returned

Fitted on top of a Ryzen 3200g in my NAS/HTPC which runs 24/7. Still working great after 6 months and is whisper quiet.

Cools well enough but ridiculously tight to fit , you really need to apply more force to the motherboard than I was happy with. It also resonates, so at certain speeds it's noisier than the "noisy" fan I was replacing.
