The Real Deal!
I bought this for my husband, (from Spain), and he loved it! One of the packages was damaged upon arrival but was replaced with no hassle. Great product, great company! Will definitely buy again.

Old inventory being cleaned out???
I have eaten this product very often in the past (I lived in Spain for 5 years), and can confidently state that the product sent was off. It tasted “old”, as if it had been sitting on a shelf for way too long. The color of the ham was off as well, it was not the normal bright terra-cotta color but rather a dull brown. Very disappointing and expensive experience.

super tender, almost melt in the mouth
The flavor is really intense, the acorn flavor explodes in the month, super tender, almost melt in the mouth, pre-cut makes it much more enjoyable.

Complete disappointment
Wow, never thought I would give a 5J product less than 5 stars, no less one. I’ve had the real deal (5J) in Barcelona, and have had multiple pre-packaged Jamon from 5J. Terribly disappointed with this shipment. Super thick cut, and it didn’t even look right in the package as the meat was almost dark purple in color which is not correct, and somewhat tasteless. 5J Iberico de bellota made me cry the first time I had it. It is usually spectacular. Total disappointment with my order.

Glad I tried it...
Tried it for the first time. I did not think it was anything special. It was sliced a bit thicker than I prefer and was a bit hard to separate. You taste the acorn and interesting flavor, although not worth the price by any stretch.
