How did this story get so many 4 and 5 Star Reviews?
I looked closer only a few of the reviews were “Verified Purchase” ;) As a Writer your stories are the product you are selling. Poor editing makes for a Poor Product! Examples: “Wyatt understood why they did it and felt back”….Lol, did you mean Bad? “They were okay with him talking go her alone” Yep, I think To should go there. Oh And the BEST "Her cock got even harder for her" WTF if that's not a typo the MC is a he/she! There are lots of errors like this throughout the story but sadly the editing was actually better than many other stories in this genre I have read and not my major complaint about the book. The story starts out as the MC, a PI was hired to steal something, I thought PI = Private Investigator not Thief. But this story still could have been decent but turned out to be Hokey and just not entertaining! Meanwhile another PI beat him to the theft who happened to be a foxy elf who of course he ends up sleeping with him which is ok since this is a Harem Novel but the lead in was bad as was the sex scene. The story rambles along going from one bad subplot to another. Now I understand why those mass-produced book a week authors like Logan Jacobs & Eric Vall sell so many books. "Usually" decent stories and good editing.

Very good story with minimal cringe factor.
Wyatt is not the angst-ridden character that you see way too often. cAT, THE GAL ON THE COVER, BECOMES THE FIRST MEMBER OF HIS HAREM. Not to worry as Octavia is next and then Gillian. This is very entertaining and almost zero cringe-factor. No one gets captured, tortured, or mutilated. Also, not an excessive amount of sex.Very GOOD!

This author has talent..and this isn’t a bad book, however..in my opinion it’s very flat with nothing new or notable. It follows the same formula as ninety percent of its competitors..can’t recommend

Ok
At times it was a chore to continue but I persevered, the MC is not very admirable, does have a heart and some redeeming characteristics, did not come across as any kind of PI, and wasted much of the story pointlessly wandering around, found the female characters much more enjoyable and likable, the proofreading could use some serious work, will probably eventually read second book.

Amazing world you’ve let us glimpse
I really enjoyed the intricacies of the race dynamic in the city and how the characters interacted even with races they were hostile towards only wish we got a back story on who Wyatt is like his family and how the next location the sequel possibly takes place to affect Wyatt and the group.

Dimond in the rough.
Would have given it 4 and half star if I could. Some more editing and like some one already mentioned a little flat. But not so much that it wasn't an enjoyable read. Some more depth into the girls characters would liven it up. I really do hope selene shows back up in next one.

title is odd
I keep waiting to see why it was titled the way it was, and after reading, I still dont know. Was good, a bit rushed at the end.I recommend it.

Naive
First person stories rely solely on the consistency and believability of the character telling the story. The protagonist is a thirty something near-do-well with a rebel-without-a-cause complex. Of course lurking within his psyche is a superhero ability that covers all his fumbling, bumbling and stumbling. Everyone is flawed, but this guy is a loser and in a pre industrial agrarian society that means you don't get the hot high class women and you don't live happily ever after. That said, the mechanics of the writing need an upgrade. Learn to use commas to regulate the flow of your prose. Use italics to separate or emphasize words. Get better beta readers to remove ambiguous language, stray words and homophones (look it up if needed). Relationships need more than a night in the sack to establish trust, understanding, and respect. Three women in three days is a bridge too far and fails utterly the suspension-of-disbelief test. Good luck.
