I am using one of these near my stove - with a cast iron trivet on top of it, and one next to my sink. They are working perfectly to help keep my counter top dry (sink) and keep my hot pans off the counters. I have not set a hot pan directly on the silicone, but have used them as pot holders to move a pan from the stove top and it worked well. They are thin, and I do cook a lot with Cast Iron, so not sure they would hold up under that kind of heat. They are easy to clean but I have not had to put them in the dishwasher because they rinse off so well in the sink. Overall, these look nice and work well for what I wanted the for. Do pay attention to the size as these are small.

Review of Walfos Round Hot Pads. The 12 inch round is just smaller that 12 so that is fits inside my GE microwave glass platter - what I bougth it for. My microwave cavity is a bit high for me and this 'hot pad' allows me to cradle a hot bowl of soup without burning my fingers or slopping it around trying to slide a pot holder uner it. I just pull up the EASY TO GRAB sides and cradel the bowl with the thick insulating sides. There is lies my one conflict in reviewing this product - it has a pattern of ridges or dare say molded grooves in the silicon underneath. The smooth top is easy to wipe and the molding underneath provides a small lip around the top both to catch boilovers and splashes as well as easy grab point to fold up the hot pad around what you are heating. BUT those grooves / ridges are a pain in the arse to rinse out and DRY. You can not simply put the pad back into the microwave - the water will be trapped between the pad and glass and boil when next used. That water can pop, make steam in cavity and make for hot spots underneath what you are cooking. Simply let it drain - So I now have a clip under micowave to let it drip dry onto stovetop before next use. But it is so useful that I did not ding it to 4 stars

I purchased the Walfos Large Silicone Trivet 16x12 Inch to be used on the countertop next to the stove. The silicone material is of good quality. The trivet is used to place hot pots and pans on when removed from the stovetop to protect the countertop. It is also used to set cooking utensils on when cooking. The grooves on the trivet collect and hold any liquids that drip from the cooking utensils or hot pots. The trivet is easy to use. Just place it where you want it and use it. The trivet performs and works well. The PVC material is strong and flexible and it grips the pots and utensils that are placed on it. The price is reasonable. The size can hold one large frying pan or two 2-quart pots. It comes in a variety of colors to match your kitchen decor. It is a good purchase considering your trivet needs.

Great for heavy cast iron. Protects countertops

Yesterday my granddaughter hosted our family Thanksgiving meal. I left my house at 11:30 and returned home around 3:30. During transport my 16x12 trivet was placed under the HOT casserole dish & then everything was wrapped in aluminum foil. At her house, I kept the trivet under the dish to protect her countertop. When it was time to leave I noticed the small amount of the remaining casserole was still warm on the bottom!!! That trivet kept the food warm for hours. So, you won't be surprised when I tell you I've already ordered more trivets...mostly the 16" ones, plus a few smaller sizes. Thank you for providing such a great product that's the perfect trifecta: works great, looks great, and is reasonably priced.

Very nice! We use it under all of our cooking devices on the counter tops. Keeps the counter from heating and Keeps it clean when you spill some tast testing. Work great and easy to clean.

I use these every day. They've been through the dishwasher countless times and are still going strong. The sizes are great for multiple kitchen purposes. They're not just trivets. Highly recommended!
