Most others are 1:4 or weaker.Cons:* None that I can think of.I use this for making drinks, sodas, etc. I love the root beer like taste of real sassafras. Sassafras was originally one of the main ingredients in root beer, although currently all root beer on the market is made with other flavors that simulate the flavor of sassafras.This goes very well with kola nut tinctures for flavoring sodas.

I was very excited to order this because I love Pappy’s Sassafras tea concentrate but it is getting increasingly difficult to find and I’ve been looking for alternatives. Other reviews about this stuff gave me the impression a few drops would impart a sassafras flavor to drinks, especially club soda, which was my intended use for it.So I poured a glass of bubbly water and added a few drops - no noticeable difference. Added a few more drops - nothing. Added a dropper-full - STILL nothing! Put a drop on my finger and tasted it - just a little sweet but not much else. Took a whiff of the bottle - no aroma! What kind of sassafras is this I though! Had my wife smell it (she has the nose of a bloodhound) - she said she can’t smell much of anything.If this bottle contains tincture of sassafras then it’s some kind of really uncharacteristic sassafras that has no flavor or aroma, and why would you think anybody would be happy with that?I immediately returned the bottle.If you’re looking for this to make sassafras flavored beverages then look elsewhere - this isn’t going to work for you.
