The hat itself is fine – now – but it arrived so badly wrapped in two lightweight plastic bags that it had become squashed completely out of shape, and it took me ages to tease it out over a steaming kettle. Also, the bead band decoration wasn't centred and I had to release it from the blobs of glue with which it was fixed, and reattach it with thread. This was not a cheap item at nearly £19, and it should have been placed in a box with bubble wrap, or some other better protection. I just hope that its poor treatment will not shorten its life, but I suspect the straw might well crack in time.

Its for the race's and I like it but haven't tried it with my outfit yet

Purchased for my holiday so used it daily on the beach, thought because it was made of paper it wouldn't last if I put it on after a swim with wet hair, it did, it's more like a straw hat. It still has a good shape after this years use and it's currently packed away to be used again for next years sun holiday

Disappointed that the hat came in a plastic bag (as opposed to amazons usual cardboard boxes) and it was a bit misshapen on arrival. I've left it in a warm room and it looks better now. Looks great on and protects my hair and eyes from our lovely sun's glare (when it's out!)

This was a great buy for my holidays, and the hat has a wired rim, so you can adjust the sides to suit yourself.A+
