is the light from these bluer than the standard bulb? (a lot of "white" are actually blue)?

If you read the description, it says that these bulbs have a color temperature of 4100K. When looking at bulbs, the color temperature will range from 2700K which is a yellow light, up 6500K which is the blue light. Natural daylight is around 5300K (Daylight white), so these bulbs still have a touch of yellow to them, but they are much whiter than the standard bulb.

Could this bulb be too bright? I don't want to be the jerk blinding everyone. I have an '05 Corolla.

To bright is not a concern. Proper aim is. On level ground at night measure where the center of you headlight is directly in front of your car(as close to the headlight as you can get). Remember that number, now measure 25ft from the light. At 25ft, you need to measure and find the cutoff or beam center. Beam should drop 2" for every 25ft.Also, stay witthin the 3000k -6000k range for color, go beyond that range and you start to lose visible light.

Which model will fit my 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 3.6L Crew Cab Truck, I do not have HID Headlights, just Standard Factory headlights and need to upgrade.

All you need to do it go to the auto zone website and enter your car information before looking up a part. It will only show what fits your vehicle. You can also do that on Rock Auto

I notice that the bulb looks different from what it used to. Is the output/color the same?

The output light discharge is a bright, clear white. The is no 'blue' color even though there is a blue tint on the bulb. That simply negates the yellowish color we see on most vehicles. This is my second set, replacing standard H4 bulbs. These are so much better!
