Summer Waves SkimmerPlus 1500 Gallon Above Ground Framed Pool Filter Pump Bundle with 4-Pack Replacement Type A/C Pool and Spa Filter Cartridge

The first box arrived empty. The second box came with NO FILTERS and the pump is already not working. I definitely am not happy with this purchase.

Perfect for my 22 foot pool.

For the cost, this bundle would have been a great deal in regards to upgrading the stock 330gph pump. Per description, the products are “ Summer Waves SkimmerPlus 1500 Gallon Above Ground Framed Pool Filter Pump Bundle with 4-Pack Replacement Type A/C Pool and Spa Filter Cartridge” with hoses and clamps included. I open the box... and to my disappointment, all there is are 4 cartridges. Missing pump/filter, hoses, clamps. Why even utilize that size of a box for just cartridges?For now, I’ll maintain the 1 star until this is resolved.Edit: 4/17/21. 3 days after receiving that disappointing package, the rest of the items were delivered. We contacted the third party through Amazon that same night on 4/14. This third party sent out the missing pump the next morning. I’m impressed. They resolved the problem. 5 Stars.

This was an steal! I replaced a pump and the moment of hooking it up. It never did its job. It kept automatically shutting off. Pool never was filtered and customer service was no help. completely lost my money.

Had about 2 months now and works great! Was easy to replace. Only took maybe 5 minutes to take off old one and instal new one. Filters did arrive first but pump came within a day or two after. Over all very happy with purchase.

I liked the quality of the product I ordered since the pump went out on my summer waves above ground pool. This was the same as what came with the pool. I have been unable to replace the whole pool due to Covid-19 and the demand and low stock of above ground pools !

The lid came broken but we just kept using it since I didn’t want to ship it all back and wait for a new replacement. It has a timer that you can’t work around so it goes on and off in cycles based on the number of hours you set it to. At first this seemed nice, with the filter it came with in place. But I quickly learned that every other filter we own does not fit as snug so the skimmer basket lifts up when the pump shuts off. Then when it goes back on it’s not positioned right and the flow of the water is off so it chug chug chugs till you can fix it. It’s gonna burn up the motor! Bad design, probably gonna have to try and tape it into place. Ordered this one specifically because it said it didn’t have a timer feature to replace our broken one. It came with the timer anyway. A bit disappointing. Really wish there was a solution to this problem. The basket needs to clip into place or something to prevent dry motor running and burning up. If it floats highly enough the water flap closes and it pushes all the water out. Or it just runs with partial water flow everytime it goes back on. Yes I’m using the correct size filter, but each manufacture is slightly different.
