The Sentinel

Most of the Jack Reacher novels are fast paced and exciting to read. The same goes for this one. Andrew and Lee Child has done a fantastic job. It is a must read for all the Jack Reacher fans. If you are new to this, it is a good mystery/Thriller novel read.

Rating: 3.5/5Another Day, Another ReacherSince Reacher as no place to go and pretty much loves/lives a nomadic lifestyle he reaches Pleasantville a Town in Tennessee. Within minutes of reaching the town, Jack just casually stops a guy getting kidnapped. And then just does thing that he is good at, sniff out the bad guys.The Sentinal is the 25th book in the series. But the special thing about this one is Lee Child has co-authored it with his brother Andrew Child. A little back story Leechild has given the mantel of Jack Reacher to Andrew and is soon going to retire from this series. The Few coming books will be co-authored by both of them and then Andrew will continue with the legacy.The story starts has it always does Reacher in a greyhound and a new place. And with how the story proceeded i felt Jack was a little to chatty and not that cold calculated mess we are used to. I know it wont be the same from here on. Jack Reacher has got a major software update but I'm not ready for it. On the other hand Reacher got a phone(kinda) but still it counts( tiny spoiler). This marks the end of an era and a new Reacher. I know changes are good but i just hope that not many drastic changes are being brought. The story was not very out of the box. But ample of action we got there. Overall a happy with the book.🙂To all the new people who haven't read Jack Reacher or looking for a big series give it a try.

With Andrew. Child in the picture changes were expected in the book's narrative and it is evident. But the writing is crisp, the story as relentless as ever and the action, thrills and storyline excellent I quite like this version of Jack Reacher 2.0

Not an usual Jack Reacher book. I felt end was very weak. I felt he rushed to end it unlike his other novels. Is Jack Reacher getting old? I dont se his sharp sarcasm or witty one liners.

Classic Lee Child!! Hard to find the difference between the two authors writing.... Book quality is good, paper quality could have been better.

Either Child is getting bored or Reacher is getting old. Didn't find the usual urge to continue reading until the book is complete.

The pace of Lee Child s Jack Reacher series plays out like a movie waiting to be made. Excellent tempo.

Andrew Reacher is just as talented a wordsmith as Lee.

The cowritten has more twist and turns than a steel cable. It's like little plots with in novel all craftrully woven together A great read hard to put down.

Me parece que esta novela no la escribió Lee Child, sino Andrew Child!! Ya no es el Jack Reacher original!!! El Jack Reacher de Andrew Child, es innecesariamente descriptivo, y le da muchas vueltas a la historia. Me decepcionó la novela!!
