Demons are Forever (Elite Operatives series Book 5)

I have read all books in the series, this one was the most complex, full of intrigue and action-packed. As first glanced was not sure how the authors would handle the abduction of agent Lynx and the reunion of Landis and Harding given their very difficult history (Harding being self-destructive, Landis emotionally sleep walking and feeling the loss of Harding [who faked her death 10 years earlier] the knowledge that she shot her sweet love. Throw in Harding’s troubles with the EOO (seen as traitor by some) and blinding myopathy towards rescuing Lynx and you have a constantly boiling soup of potential failed mission ‘Phoenix’ (find Rozsa and rescue Cassidy).So a few twist – the organ donor is connect to the creep Dario who is the sole client of the beautiful Heather – she with the brother need a heart transplant and obsession with the graphic novel written and drawn by Landis – who is at first a suspect then an asset with the intent to use Dario to locate Rozsa then a lover of Landis. Another twist the big reveal of Jack on what really happen when she shot the lover of Landis. Another Brigette the French mother of Jack discovered. So much intrigue.While present somewhat in the previous novels the author’s sense of humor, was in full display – laughed out loud often when reading the banter between Jack and Landis – could see why they made such a great team.Overall another great read. Keep of the teaming of ops, add a little more loving.

This book wraps up the cliff-hanger ending of Dying To Live in a satisfying manner.I wasn't that taken with Chase, she was too cold and basically just not very interesting. Her romantic plot wasn't my cup of tea either. Prostitute with a heart of gold stories don't really do anything for me and I wasn't invested in them getting together. What's good then is that Jack is back as a co-lead once again and just as in Missing Lynx she steals the book. Her struggle to get Lynx back is what I really cared about. Unfortunately, with all the time devoted to Chase's romance, Jack and Lynx's reunion is shorted and not as in depth as I wanted.A good gripping installment to an excellent series but with characters I didn't care about taking up so much time, it wasn't as satisfying as it could have been. Definitely get it though if you are a fan of the series.

Another awesome read, great new character's along with the old ones, glad to see Lynx and Jack back together again. Can't wait to see what comes next for the elite operatives.

All I can say is Jack and chase are funny together. But I did like how they worked out their past. It was a great wrap up from the storyline from dying to Live. But gives you idea of what is going to happen in the next. Off to read book 6...I would definitely recommend this book.

Demons are Forever- excellent addition to the Elite Operatives series. Each new book spotlights a new operative while highlighting many of the previous favorites from prior books in the series. The plot and characterizations are well done, the ladies are all unique, interesting and sexy so a very welcome addition to lesbian action/adventure/romance

Love all the books in this series. Very hard to stop reading, even when I have work the next day and the sun is about to rise. I bought the kindle version so did not have to deal with shipping. I would definitely consider buying these books as hard copies.

I enjoy the way the characters from previous stories continue to make appearances, yet the main story is completely new. The romance is phenomenal. I love the combination of suspense, lesbian romance and hot badass women!

I have enjoyed every one of these stories in the series. The characters are well written. I hope there will be more to come.

The co-operation between Kim Baldwin and Xenia Alexiou continues to flourish and provide us with another facinating case for the Elite Operatives. This one involves a rare additional tension as it includes a previous operative (who has, exceptionally, been allowed to live after deliberately 'disappearing' because, in a situation of extreme need, she felt totally let down by the Organisation) being asked to join in the mission as both her skills and personal involvement are critical to the success of the mission. As always the quality of the writing and the scheming of the 'plot' are excellent with tension maintained throughout.It is a very good and involving story which readers of the previous books will be delighted by and I suspect, new readers will be frantically attempting to purchase all of the back episodes.

Really great book, a real page turner, then it's finished and you are sorry you couldn't put it down. The whole series of books have been really enjoyable, can't wait for more....

Loved this whole series. Brilliant entertaining, exciting, suspenseful, sexy, thriller. I could go on. Just buy it. Could read standalone but worth reading whole series.
