Installed exactly as described. Came with quality fasteners and is very heavy duty. Install took about an hour, but that was due to waiting on batteries for the drill to recharge. Camper I installed this on had a 1/4" plate pin box, took a while to drill through.I saw another review showing that the buyer had trouble with jacknifing the trailer without it coming close to the cab. I have a short bed extended cab pickup and this hitch, properly installed, causes no issues. In fact completely jacknifed this hitch leaves the doghouse of the camper 3'6" from the cab corner. Be sure to put the offset forward, the idea is to move the hitch point as far forward as possible. I have it presently installed with the bolts and drilled access holes in the pin box, I also purchased hole plugs from Amazon as well to keep water out. I would also recommend welding the hitch on if you have the ability, as it'd be a quick install and permanent.Thank you for the great product and great service!

We had our adapter welded on. Our RV's fifth wheel was a square shape that didn't allow room for drilling the bolt holes. I certainly have more confidence in welds than bolts. This adapter allowed me to pull my 36-footer 800 miles without a problem. The solidity of this thing is without question. And the price, at the time, was amongst the lowest. I highly recommend this adapter.A muffler shop will be able to do the welding for you. Or, a local welding supply store may be able to give you a referral to a welder nearby. We found a good one that worked on a pipeline. It took him about an hour to do the job. Amazingly he only charged me about sixty bucks!

Works as described. Arrived in a trashed box and was missing a nut and washer. Great product.

was easy to install with help from friend parts are heavy . cost was a bit high! but worked fine.

My husband laughed ecstatically about this product as it came out of the box. It is way beefier than expected and very well built. I will update this review once it is mounted and towing.

Perfect for our truck to pull our 5th wheel camper!

We purchased this a few months backs. It has been nothing but a pain. We own and pull a few gooseneck trailers with no problem. Adapted our 5th wheel camper to a gooseneck with this hitch adapter and we cannot jack knife this trailer at all or else we hit the bed rails of our truck. 2 trucks we own actually. 1 being a Ram-2500 2nd being a Toyota Tundra. Recommend not getting this offset unless u own a flatbed truck but as far as it being great for box short beds...not so much. If u r still considering purchasing this product, Contact me.
