Wild Peaks Raw New Zealand Manuka Honey UMF 20+ (8.8 oz) (250g)

This is the third brand of Manuka honey I've tried (besides Manukora and NZ Honey Co) and it tastes like the real thing to me. It also has the by far lowest price of any 20+ UMF honey on Amazon and since it has a license number and a UMF number umf.org.nz basically guarantees it's real.Interestingly the license (#2228) is held by Ora foods, the same NZ company that makes the much more expensive Manukora brand which I've tried. This particular brand isn't listed , but it says Ora Foods on the box and Ora advertises that do custom marketing so I'm guessing that's what's going on here. Since the BBE is sometime in 2025 I stocked up.

For reasons I won't get into, I decided to try this to help with a mild infection when medical help was unavailable. A nurse recommended it, and my vet had prescribed this honey for one of my rabbits for an infection last year, so I had more confidence about this kind of thing walking in the door than I usually do. After I recovered from seeing the price for a little jar, I closed my eyes and ordered one.I took a tablespoon of honey every 4 hours for a month (two jars). At one week, the infection symptoms started to fade. At the end of 2 weeks, they were gone completely, but I finished the second jar because I had it, and because there are lots of treatments that need to continue part the initial point of feeling recovered. It's been almost 2 months since I started the honey and I feel great. I'll have to remember this honey in the future.One last head's up: this does not taste like grocery store honey. It's not as sweet, and has an aftertaste that reminds me of some teas. It also has a slightly gritty texture. I didn't find any of that a problem, but it did come as a surprise.

This Manuka honey is amazing! It tastes great, but most importantly it has so many health benefits. Manuka honey is anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory. I take a teaspoon full every day and I feel like it aids with overall health and immunity. I double up if I am feeling under the weather. This should be a staple in everyone’s daily health regime.

They are listed on the UMF website of members and I just know from the taste that this is great quality. Highly recommend.

Tastes great and is a great substitiution for sugar. I like it with tea. I hear raw honey is good for your immune system and help lessen or prevent allegery symptoms. So I think I will use it in my tea a couple times a week.

Manuka Honey is expensive and you must use brands certified to be real. This one has excellent value in price

Great quality for the price.

We used it during a bout of cough and cold. Since we used so many natural resource such as ginger and rose hip tea, I can't identify which one is effective. The texture is unlike the usual honey. It's a little watery, but easier to mix in hot water. Manuka honey is a little bit over-rated.

The texture and color is different than what I used to buy. This one is translucent and more coarse(sugar particles like taste) than all the others. Feels like regular honey if you ignore the taste. If you Google online all the others are solid / not runny gold color even in room temperature. So I started looking up online for their license that the bottle provided. All the other brand on the official website not only has license # but also has “UMF Manila Honey” in their product type section . Sure enough this brand doesn’t.

Love the medicinal properties but it’s like gold price wise …expect a ‘small’ container’
