RexEme Cream

Works well. I tried this because it was reported as a replacement for the Carmex product that is no longer produced. Well, it not really the same. There is a distinct menthol and camphor scent which isn't very pleasant, but that fades after a few minutes. It also has a more substantial waxy feel than Carmex, however, that isn't a bad thing, because, while the waxy feel fades, too, it seems to be effective for much longer than Carmex. I found that Carmex had lost most of its effect a few hours after applying it before bed. But this product seems to keep skin soft all night. And that's what I wanted for two fingers with long-standing problems of drying and cracking. I would say this is, so far, the best of many products I've tried. That included Working Hands/Feet and Burt's Bees, as well as some urea creams.Additional:I've used it for a while now, and I'm still impressed and more. I wore a place on the sole of one foot pool walking, and I had a Bandaid on it, but sweat softened the skin, and the adhesive pulled a patch of the top layer of skin off. Very painful with the nerves exposed. The Eme Cream soothes and actually seems to promote healing and causes no pain itself on contact with the raw skin layer. .

I’m pretty sure I’ve reviewed this before, but amazon is suggesting I review this again, so I am. This is a product I am never without. If I get close to the end of one, I immediately order more. They didn’t have this size on the website from the maker, so I got it here. I don’t use it as a moisturizer, and I’m pretty sure that whenever I started using this, I was kind of desperate. It works really well for swelling, if you spent a long time in labor.

This stuff is amazing! I first bought it on a whim a very long time ago. My son developed eczema in his armpits. The doctor even prescribed steroid cream, but he still was itchy and uncomfortable. I put this on maybe 6 times, it went away and didn't come back until recently. It had been 14 years! Again, I put this on his eczema and within a very few applications, it was gone!

Working in a shop around paint, glues, solvents my finger and thumb tips will split open in winter in the dry air.Rex-Eme, if used regularly, prevents splits. What’s more, it actually heals them!Doesn’t leave greasy residue.Nothing else comes close.

These folks are great --- I have used RexEme for 23 years now (I have extreme psoriasis - it helps with itch as well as preventing drying/cracking). superb product backed up by a small family-owned business. They are THE best.

This is a great product. I've used it for years and it's the only cream that really cures dry skin and makes it smooth. It goes on thick and smells minty but that goes away and your skin is just hydrated.

This cream is great for dry skin. I use it every night on my hands and feet year round. Prevents cracking and helps healing. It's my go-to for years. this size and the 16 oz size are much more economical than the tubes. There is a slight aroma of menthol and eucalyptus as these are two of the ingredients. I find it relaxing.

RexEme really works for me, better than anything else on the market. The battle with dry heels is a constant one, and as soon as I stop using this product, I start to get horizontal cracks in my heels that can get deep enough to bleed. In the winter, I can keep this under control by using RexEme day and night (and at night, wearing cotton socks). Summer is another matter. I've never found anything that works in the summer, but RexEme at least diminishes the problem.
