So far so good.
It does take a lot of filling to stuff them. The quality seems good. Once I get them stuff more completely I think they will be fine. I purchased two. Not sure yet if they are different sizes or it’s because I used different items to stuff them. O ER all I’m good with them and plan to keep (and continue experimenting with the stuffing).

Just what I wanted!
The genuine leather pouf was just what I wanted. It is sturdy, good size and easily stuffed with the zipper that is on the bottom. I actually had a worn out cloth pouf that I deconstructed and used the filling. Worked perfectly! It is a tad bit on the tan-orange side but will treat it with leather conditioner and it will darken up in no time. No unpleasant smell. Remember it is leather and will loose that leather smell in a day or two. Mine did.

Not at all as depicted! Quality good and real.
The photos used on Amazon are not at all what the actual product's colour is going to look like. Other than that, real leather, smells like goat, great quality. Just the appearance of leather is very flat and makes the whole cube look fake and plastic-like. Keep that in mind. Maybe a leather-store could help getting it polishee and lotioned to look like in Amazon's product-photo-description.

Love these Poufs!
These are not bonded leather as another reviewer posted. You can see from my pics, there are natural imperfections, as you would expect from a genuine leather. There is a liner sewn in with it, but it is not a bonded leather product. Others have complained of an odor. Well, a genuine leather does come from an animal, which will and should have a natural scent to it. I look forward to years of enjoyment from these poufs, once I've finished stuffing them.

Converted to happy
When the pouf first arrived, I was very disappointed because the color didn’t look like anything in the picture. It was orange and even. It didn’t have any distressed look that I thought it was fake plastic or some synthetic material. I was disappointed that I was going to return it. Then since one reviewer said they were able to distress it, I decided to try that because the price of this pouf was very good that it wouldn’t hurt to experiment with it. I searched online for ways to distress/darken it and add depth to it. I used olive oil to darken it, and now I LOVE it! And highly recommend it!I think seller should put in the product description that the leather is “untreated” so people are not disappointed and also provide information/tips/ways to turn the pouf/leather into the kind of leather in their product pictures.I am glad I kept it and experiment with it. Thank you to the reviewer who said they were able to find ways to distress it.

Good quality but No interior case for the fill
I actually like this product quite a bit. I made one for myself once out of fabric scraps but it began to smell from dog use and the interior stuffing of fabric scraps made it super heavy. It comes with an extra pillow cover but I would have rather had an interior casing for the stuffing. I went to Joannes and got a bunch of Styrofoam beads. Which proved to be a bit of a project and rather messy. Once the beads were installed I then topped everything off with extra fabric scraps for stability. No matter what it will never be a firm cube. But nonetheless it’s a very cozy footstool and the dogs use it to get up on the couch rather than a dog ladder.

Good value but color is off..
The media could not be loaded. These were a great value for the money, however, the color in the picture is deceivingly more complex than in actuality. The color of the poufs on arrival was very “orangey” and uniform without the depth of caramels and browns shown in the pic. I’ve tried adding leather oils to deepen the color a bit more like the picture, but the leather comes SO DRY it soaked them right up and hasn’t changed the color much. Looks like it’s going to take a lot of leather balms and moisturizers to get it looking like the leather in the pic. I don’t mind adding my own character to these, just would be nice to know what I’m buying rather than feel deceived. Also, the leather is not treated at all on arrival so even after adding my leather balms, a couple drops of water has already damaged these, so learn from my mistakes and treat these with protectors ASAP.

Color does not match the listing pictures at all
The good:Good leather qualitySturdyNice stitchingThe bad:Color is dark brown with a hint of red, not at all like the tan color in the listing.Zipper position is really bad!it sits in diagonal making it impossible to fit in a pre cut cushion. I had ordered a custom cut foam with the exact dimmensions as this. It was impossible to fit it in because of the zipper. I had to cut the foam in pieces and place each manually inside the cover.Overall, i don't reccomend buying it.
