Real Construction Action Boat Set

I ordered this for my seven year-old. He really wanted to build a boat and this gave him the chance to build two. He loves them. The instructions were easy for him to follow without help from us. The styrofoam parts eliminated the need for any tools other than the plastic screwdriver it came with. The little wind-up propeller makes them perfect bath toys-- though it would have been nice if it included two props instead of just one. We would definitely recommend this kit for young kids.

Active 3 & 5 year olds each built one in the kit. They have enjoyed in tub & pool. They float GREAT & lasted longer (at 5 days so far) than any other model made to float we have purchased. Only our homemade clay boats have lasted longer (6 months & counting).The only downside, IF there is one, is that the screws can't be inserted twice in one spot if one comes out. Honestly, this is expected for the material & price point so I'll purchase again!

This is such a great toy. Inexpensive and well thought out. Gives kids the opportunity to be creative and build something with minimal assistance from an adult. The little motor on the back of the boat is particularly fun. We got this and another similar kit for my five year old and they were a big hit. My 3 year old was interested as well and my 12 year old jumped in and got involved because he couldn't resist the fun. Definitely recommend.

This set is a great idea for young builders. I was expecting it to be made of a thin particle board or mdf, but it's made of foam. It's awful! The screws don't even stay screwed into the foam. It was very disappointing.

I bought as a gift for my grandson, he loved it. His mom said that he and his dad put it models together easily.It was a good project to do together.

Not what I expected

My 6 year old grandson loved it. He was able to do most of it by himself.
