From Mister Magoo to Papa Smurf

Don't miss this book!
This is a memoir to remember, to keep, and to reread. Gerard Baldwin has truly lived in many cultural worlds, and gives wondrous insights into them all. His worldly experiences are surpassed by few, and I refuse to ruin any of the many surprises that will unfold for his readers. The personally guided tours through his life's experiences, opened my eyes to areas in our country and abroad that I have only heard about. Intriguing insights into our cultural differences and commonalities. His personal story is beautifully interwoven with his vast professional experiences in animation. Who doesn't want to know more about Mr. Magoo, Bullwinkle, Suess, Disney, HannaBarbera, The Smurfs? Fascinating! Intelligent! A beautifully designed book! In my opinion...a must read!

One of the few books with behind-the-scenes on the Smurfs
Pretty well written for a memoir, some good stuff on the hand-drawn cartoon era.
