MerrellWomen's Siren Edge Waterproof Walking Shoe

I just returned from a trip to Ireland where it is known to rain a lot. It rained two days while there and I walked around the gardens at Blarney Castle and my feet stayed completely dry! They are light-weight and comfortable for my feet. However, I sized up a half size because I lose toe nails buying shoes that don't fit right. I would purchase these shoes again.

I wore these in the rain, stepped in puddles and walked through wet grass, and my feet stayed dry. I also held these under a running faucet with my hand in the shoe like another reviewer did, and my hand stayed dry.The other reviews are correct, these do run narrow. Because of those reviews, I ordered a wide. They fit like a regular-width shoe (the extra width you’d expect in “wide” sized shoes was not there). The bottom is not very padded, but that could be fixed with an insert. That said, they fit well and are comfortable to walk in.Worth the money to have dry feet!

Thank goodness for Amazon's Try Before You Buy. I have purchased three other Merryl shoes, all hiking type. The fit has been the same with ample fit including roomy toe boxes and very comfortable. This pair is a narrower and slightly smaller fit. Returned a size 9 for 9 1/2 but was just a bit too long and still narrow. Returned those and got a 9 wide. Those fit okay however, they are much more snug fitting than the hiking type shoes and not as comfortable. My feet are not particularly wide. Good looking shoe, goes well with jeans.

I love the color. They really worked for winter when I was snowshoeing (pretty waterproof.) It’s been 2 months that I’ve had them and they are starting to wear. I’m starting a hole on the inside's where the ball of my feet are. I like them but wish they lasted longer. Granted I wear them often!

Love my Merrell waterproof walking shoes! I walk my dog almost every day all year long. I decided I needed a waterproof walking shoe for rain and in general wet conditions in the fall and spring to keep my feet dry. These shoes do that. They fit great and look nice. Above all else my feet stay dry!

Bought this shoe as it states waterproof- not at all waterproof - brought it on a trip and spent time having to dry it - it has been worn but I would like compensation with another shoe that is waterproof- it’s a good shoe, I’ve worn Merrell for years- just don’t list this item as waterproof if it is not

I walk a lot and these shoes are comfortable and supportive.

Love Merrell! These lightweight hikers are great. Great fit and comfort.

Very comfortable waterproof shoes with great support. I’m a dog groomer, so my feet are constantly getting wet. They also repel hair well.
