Not bad at all.
Now I’m not really on a diet but I cycle a lot and struggle to eat breakfast before rides, so I was looking for a liquid meal replacement that was quick to prepare and consume without being too heavy. From the description they sounded packed with nutritional benefits so I opted for the Banana flavoured sachets as chocolate isn’t really my thing. The sachets arrived well packaged with a long best before date stamped on the box. I was eager to try them, so I poured around half a pint of skimmed milk into a shaker and mixed with one sachet. Once I’d finished my Tom Cruise Cocktail impression the moment of truth came to try and I wasn’t disappointed! It actually tastes really good and has an authentic banana flavour. The flavour is plenty strong enough to add more milk if required although water can be used too.Surprisingly I made it to our lunch stop off after a good 45 miles in the saddle without feeling overly hungry or drained. Most importantly for me, I didn’t suffer with bloating which was my main reason for wanting to try.Overall I am more than pleased with the product and I will no doubt be using Billy’s sachets again.SB

Not that good.
So here's the thing, I really want to love these but the only things going for it is that it tastes good and it's low in calories at 133 per serving with water. And everything else ended up being a negative, it's high in sugar at 11g per 35ml serving. It's not actually vegetarian as it "may contain fish" and it's more of a light meal replacement so a snack as apposed to a full meal replacement. For it to be that low on calories it needs to be with water but if you want a full meal replacement then you need to add milk which increases the calories exponentially. It's currently £9.99 for 7 so 1 week which didn't seem so and but for a full month makes it nearly £40.Unfortunately this just sin't for me with all these adding up.This is my honest and unbiased review.

Vegetarian though 'May contain traces of fish'?
This is a plain looking, slim box with 7 sachets inside. I was attracted to the banana flavour and the flavour is tasty and the texture is smooth, creamy and thick. These are useful for replacing meals or using to substitute as a snack to eat healthier. I would have given them top marks but they say these are vegetarian and then the sachet says it may contain traces of fish and other allergens due to the factory. I'm vegetarian and I can't enjoy them fully worrying that there could be traces of fish inside - to make these a wider appeal it would be better if they could amend their manufacturing methods to prevent the potential contamination from external ingredients not relevant to the recipe.Tasty and filling but not happy with the potential traces of other ingredients which would render them not vegetarian if present.

quite high sugar
Good size pack. 35g is enough for one meal, for myself I used one shake plus some fruit and/or veg.Tastes like brownies and doesn't have the unusual aftertaste that I get with my usual protein shake.Mixes really well, my shaker is broken so I mixed in a jug with a whisk and it was fine. Mixed it quick and no lumps or 'grit' left at the end, just remember to add powder to water and not water to powder.Only drawback for me is that it is still quite high in sugar, 11g per 35ml serving, which is slightly lower than similar shake products I have tried but higher than just making a straight protein shake. So it depends on what your end goal is and why you're using shakes, for just a general calorie deficit diet these will be great.£9.99 at time of ordering for a pack of 7, around £1.42 per "meal".Around the same as similar products so it'll come down to personal taste, for me I would buy these because the flavour is much better than others I have tried. I'll be trying the other flavours.

Alternative lunch
Nutritional these shakes fall some way short of being an adequate full "meal replacement", but they are adequate as a replacement for a light meal in the short term, if kickstarting a diet or if I just wish to rest my tummy. I found that with using milk, the chocolate flavour resembled drinking milky cold cocoa. I then tried mixing the powder with hot water, and that is they way I now prefer it. Despite the mineral content the shake tastes quite pleasant, with no bad aftertaste. If find it difficult to open the tight packets without making some mess.

Finally, nice tasting powder drinks !
I cannot fault these. They smell really strong of bananas. They do 2 things that are Important...They taste good, and quite frankly alot of these types don't. But these taste good !! And I can drink these easily !And secondly, they keep you filled up, without bloating. There is an element of sugar in them yes, and this probably does add to the taste, bit it's not a great amount..So far so good... hopefully they will work !

Smells gorgeous
Omg when you open the packet the gorgeous chocolate smells hits you, makes your mouth water.I opted to makes these with skimmed milk. I whisked the milk and power together in my blender so I got a better mix and the foamy top.The taste is just as good as the smell. I can honestly say I felt fuller for longer with these and knowing I was getting the right amount food supplements was an added bonus.I’d definitely get these again

Okay meal replacement
As a meal replacement is okay, it has a good mix of minerals and vitamins and it's low calories. The flavour is not that great though. I tried the banana one, and it doesn't taste much of banana. It feels like a smoothie so it'd be great if the flavour was a bit better. At about £1.4 per serving, is quite a good deal. I might try a different flavour in future.
