This is one of the favorite things I've bought from Amazon (and like most people, I've bought a *lot* of stuff from Amazon). It was bigger than I expected: the globe is about 6" in diameter but seems even bigger, especially when lit up in a dark room. The simple wooden stand holds it securely so there's no danger of it rolling away. And the remote was a great surprise: it has a very solid contoured plastic body with buttons that actually have some feel to them. It's quite a shock to pick it up after using one of those flimsy credit card-sized remotes that seem like they'll get crushed if you hold them too firmly.The remote has buttons to control the color and brightness of the globe. The usual red, green, blue and white buttons are there, but you can cycle through 18 different shades from purple to deep red. There's also a "flash" button that repeatedly cycles through all the colors, about 5 seconds for each. And, perhaps the best feature: the remote has a timer function. By hitting either the "30 minute" or "60 minute" button you'll activate a timer to shut off the globe after a half-hour or hour - perfect when using the globe as a night light.Can't find the remote (if I had a dollar for every time I've had to hunt for a remote!)? The bottom of the globe itself has a couple of handy touch controls to power it on/off, adjust the brightness, and switch between colors.

this is so cute! it's bigger than I pictured. The material seems very nice, the wood platform is very nice too. It also comes with a remote so I can switch colors, adjust the brightness, and timer! very nice!

Firstly the packaging is very nice.. This lamp is even cuter in person. I love how solid and sturdy the moon feels in my hand. It doesn't feel to delicate to hold. The stand is simple and doesn't detract from the design of the moon. My kids and husband all want one now. The only thing I didn't like was that there were no batteries included for the remote. I might be getting another.

This neat little lamp is very easy to assemble and even easier to operate. Doesn't take very long to charge and when it does, how bright it is will amaze you. It works well and provides fun for the whole family.

I absolutely love this moon lamp! It is beautiful. The remote control makes it super convenient to change the colors and dim or brighten the light.
