I got this for myself and I really like how easy it is to make the whole thing. Everything comes in packets so I didn't need to worry about measurements or anything like that. It took me less than 4 minutes to make a cup, and the tea mix is yum and definitely exceeds expectations. The microwave boba is semi-sweet and chewy- the texture and flavor are just like what you get at boba stores.

I ordered this product because I am a big boba lover and this is convenient for me. The tea was ok, not the best. I recommend using your own tea! The boba was soft and sometimes chewy but Overall it was actually good!

I've never been a huge boba milk tea fan, I've always preferred natural, loose leaf tea. I'm not sure how the flavoring was made, but it comes very close to that authentic Taiwanese tea taste! It's not too sweet (which is great for my taste) and I think I'd prefer it to some of the big chain milk teas, since they're usually too sweet and hide that tea flavor. Only note is that I'd recommend using a fairly large mug or glass, I used a cup I use for my regular loose leaf tea and following the serving size instructions it almost overflowed. Also, I was able to get chewier boba pearls by following the quick tip on one of the listing pictures, after mixing the boba and ice, let it sit for a couple of minutes to firm up.2/5 update: Tried the Jasmine flavor, I think I prefer it over the original. It's a bit less sweet, and the Jasmine flavor is subtle but definitely there. Smells really nice too!

The tapioca pearls were too hard even after warming them up. The tea itself didn’t taste as good as I would hope it would compared to other brands. I would not recommend for those who are even starting to try boba tea.

The boba are not nice and chewy, they are inconsistent and come out some being too soft and then some that are hard and that break open more like a piece of cereal than tapioca. The tea is not very flavorful. I bought 2 of these boxes after having great luck with a different brand - and these were a dollar less expensive with one more packet in each. It wasn't worth it. And I realized after the fact that they're not returnable unless something went wrong and they got damaged in delivery.

The media could not be loaded.  Actually tasted good. I came in with low expectations, thinking it would taste artificial and watered down, but I was pleasantly surprised. The tea blend is rich and amazing and the boba tasted gooey, like caramel 🙂 The best part - its soo easy to make, I simply had to demonstrate it with a quick video. I can see this as my occasional boba replacement when I don’t want to leave the house and pay 6 bucks for store boba.

the package arrived quickly and in good shape. Let me be clear here, my 2 star rating is not because of the Boba, packaging, or ease of use. This product is quite easy to use, the boba was nice and chewy and lovely. My poor rating is more to do with the new flavor specifically. This was supposed to be jasmine flavored. Now Jasmine tea is one of my favorites and I make my own jasmine milk tea at home all the time. This however did not taste like jasmine milk tea. This tasted like cheap jasmine air freshener (the kind that comes in a pouch at Walmart 3 for $1 and is full of crinkled up scented cardboard that your granny used to hide in the closets and dresser drawers, yeah, that one) mixed with 1% milk-water. After two sips all I could smell for the next half an hour was that cheap fake jasmine scent with every breath. I kept the boba, I threw the tea packets in the trash. I still consider it a win though, I did get 6 packets of boba for a reduced price so far as I'm concerned.

So if you like boba, this is a perfect at home substitute. Genuine game changer. I just stumbled upon this because my neighborhood boba shop closed and I was really craving boba. Saw this on Amazon, ordered it, and boom. It was so good! It doesn't take long to make which makes it a perfect morning drink. It's also cheaper than buying a drink at the store, so if that's important to you, definitely consider this.
