Dandelion Root Tea Detox Tea - Raw Organic Vitamin Rich Digestive (Dandelion Root, 20 Count (Pack of 3))

This is great tea aside from the benefits of the dandelion root. I add honey and even a little cinnamon essential oil and it is delicious.

This has become a favorite tea, especially if I add a chunk of ginger. If you haven’t tried dandelion, the flavor is mild, aroma is nice but not strong and if you enjoy herbals in general than you’ll provably like it at least enough to finish the box. My only complaint with this brand is the sachet packaging- you have to be careful to shake it down before tearing open or the sachet itself tears as well. The package is perhaps a bit too short, and the paper string tab is down level with the sachet, so difficult to feel where it is. But if you shake the sachet down in the package first and are careful tearing open, it’s fine. I have both a tea ball and brew-spoon for loose tea and have had to use those for ripped sachets, which is fine, but as improvement on the product, I’d offer up the suggestion to adjust the outer bag a bit and/or raise the paper tab higher above the sachet so the user knows better where to safely tear. Bottom line- love this blend! It’s a favorite and worth trying.

I purchased a box of this tea and really liked the taste. I decided to buy the 5 pack. I am so disappointed in the very poor quality of the packaging. The pictures show Box 1 and Box 2. In addition to the problems highlighted in the pictures, the strings have a habit of pulling out of the bag when removing the bags from my cup. I am very careful when opening the bags because the actual tea bag is right at the top of the envelope. When I encounter an open bag, it is difficult to know if it was because of tearing open the envelope or if it was already cut prior to be sealed in the envelope. I just started using Box 3 and have 2 more to go. I will update this review if necessary. Maybe they will redesign their packaging and let people know they have done so. I upgraded my review from 1 to 4 stars on 4-20-2021.Since I posted my previous 1 star review, I have been using scissors to cut the bag open on the side. With the printed side facing me, I check on the right side of the envelope containing the bag to make sure the bag is not there and I cut a small strip to open the envelope. I remove the bag, place it in my cup. Pour the hot water over it. Let it steep for no more than 4 minutes (I set a timer). When I remove the bag from the cup, I grab it by the top of the bag and not the string. I gently squeeze the bag. The bags themselves are fragile. If you let the tea steep to long, the string pulls out. If you dunk the bags repeatedly, the string pulls out. I am on my third box and I haven't had one instance of an open or torn bag. It is my opinion that the bags were being torn when I used the slit in the envelope to open it. I will continue to purchase this tea and use my scissors to open the envelopes.

I have been drinking this tea daily for about a months now. I add ACV, Lemon Juice, Cayenne Pepper & a splash of honey (thank you Dr. Mandell). Between drinking this and daily exercise I am down 20lbs. I love the flavor & the vibrant pinkish color. Definitely recommend!

I just received my second round of Chemo and already knew what to expect with the Neulasta shot in terms of water retention and bone pain. It didn't do anything for the bone paid but that is not what I got it for, however the water retention was of great relief to me. I was actually prepared to suffer through the taste just for the benefits but it turns out that it has such a light taste of cinnamon and with the other flavors combined, it is now pretty much my go to tea! I have already made the decision to buy more once I return home so that I will always have this brand with me. I only brought a few packets just in case and went through them in the first two days so I sent my husband to the store for more, he got some but it was a different brand and didn't have the cinnamon or the same taste. Will stick with what I know works. Thank you so much for making a product that actually helps those of us that need it and gives it an actual taste that is pleasing.

First several boxes in 2021-2 or so were wonderful taste and had a light pinkish hue. Last 6 boxes purchased in 2024 are just the opposite. Taste like a wood (Dandelion only), no pink hue and borderline to return it.Apparently the Hibiscus and Ceylon Cinnamon listed what was there before is missing in some batches. Not sure if on purpose to save and make it cheaper with larger profit or a problem in production mixing the ingrediencies. Most bags have only Dandelion in it what we positively recognize from own root harvesting. Please correct this production plant in Poland for UK seller!

I purchased this tea after reading research regarding the efficacy of dandelion root on cancer (I’m not some nut that tries to cure heart attacks with baking soda, I’m actually a medical professional). I’ve also tried the dandelion root extract, capsules, and roasted DRE tea. The roasted tea has a taste very similar to the extract (tastes like prune juice, which I don’t mind), but I wanted to make sure I was getting the raw root since that’s what has been/is currently used in studies and clinical trials. It’s diffcult to detect the prune flavor of the dandelion root in this tea; hibiscus is the prominent flavor. It’s great if you love floral tea. The cinnamon is just barely there. I let it steep for about 8 minutes because why not. I have noticed since starting dandelion root that I have to pee more frequently, and I just feel great in general. I have about 15” of incisions from cancer removal on a Friday, and I was up and about my business on Saturday without pain or pain meds. I also started a plant based multivitamins, tumeric/pepper capsules, and alkaline water. I don’t know which of these is responsible for me feeling so great (even fixed a grinding knee that I had been taking collagen for. Guessing it was the tumeric). In any case, the tea arrived promptly and in good condition. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about packaging, but I’m guessing it’s Edward Scissorhands writing all the complaints. I don’t know if this will help my cancer or not, I guess you have to wait for an updated review. Feel free to assume if I don’t update.Update: I’m still alive.
