For several years I looked out my front window at an old gas lamp that was not working. It had been disconnected after a new city ordinance long before I bought the house. At one point one of the glass panels broke and it became the spring/summer home for a local bird family. I thought about running an electrical cable to the post, but it was way too much work for me and too expensive to hire out. At one point I literally had an epiphany... what about a solar lamp! I did some research and look at several different options, finally landing on this one. I'm very happy with it, and my post has never looked better. I live in Minnesota and we have about 9-10 hours of daylight right now during the winter. That's enough to keep the post lit up all night long and into the next morning. It's bright enough, but I don't think I would depend on it for a primary source of light. I have two other lights on the garage hooked up to a dusk/dawn timer for that.P.S. I waited until the birds left home...

Love the brightness of the lamp! It serves as a front lawn light and everyone is surprised to know its not electric. Did my homework and payed off!! No problem installing because I knew the size of my existing pole. Great construction. I am optimistic about finding a light should it come to this. Thanks to the seller.

Have had it for 3 months. Has worked as described even on cloudy days. Fit on old post.

Attractive style & adequate lighting without being obnoxious. Super easy to install. Sun angle is key! So, one over cast day & you'll have light all night. Two overcast days in a northern winter month... & you won't. 2 Hours of DIRECT over head sun light is all that's required to get you through the night. As of this review I'm about 2 months of use. So far so good. I'm happy with them & so are my neighbors;)

I was looking for an easy way to light both driveway entrances. These lights were amazing easy to install and the quality of light is perfect for the purpose Intended. The multiple mounting options give great flexibility to where these lights can be installed.

I really like the look and the ease of installation. I just wish it was brighter.

The light is surprisingly warm and bright. It’s not blue or stark like some LED’s. There are rubber washers under the heads of the screws that secure the top to the fixture to prevent water from getting in. I like the fact that the solar panels are on the top of the fixture so that I didn’t have to figure out the best angle to the sun.

I’ve emailed and called them repeatedly on many occasions due to the staffing based on the virus. I finally got an email reply weeks later. Would not recommend them or order with them in the future. Great products, poor service and sadly, their not the most economical game in town.

Very bright

We needed a quick replacement when we had a short-out on our outdoor post lamp. This was the easiest solution. Fashionable, simple to install and the light last all night long. I wish it was a little brighter but it gets the job done even in extreme cold weather. Still charged and provided 12 hrs of light at -40 C.

The housing is good quality ,The bulb itself was cloudy inside, but seems to work ....for nowI am in Canada, which means you get ZERO return correspondence or even acknowledgement from Gamasonic.I sent emails, and tried to register the lamp, but the website would not accept the picture or .pdf of my invoice...??which is a requirement for warranty registration...funny how that works ..I finally got the system to accept my registration ..."I Think" as I got a message that Gamasonic would be contacting me shortly...That was over month ago...June 2020... not a message or notification from them..everMy bulb arrived cloudy, I sent emails questioing this - No responseI'm kinda ticked that they haven't got the decency to even respond to my multiple attempts to contact themThese are NOT cheapI guess being in Canada and buying through amazon is just a joke to themNOT HAPPY with the ZERO customer serviceAmazon... Look into this please
