An exciting continuation of the Eisenhorn series
This was a great book that kept me enthralled throughout. The tension was great, developments interesting and exciting. The ending did feel somewhat abrupt, but wrapped everything up well. Definitely a good read.

I cannot get enough of Eisnehorne
This is not just one of the best Warhammer 40k books I have read, it’s one of the best Sci-fi books I have ever read. I never knew I could become attached to so many different characters as I have with the ones Dan Abnett brings to life in this series.

Fun read
A good addition to the series, but the third act was a bit rushed. Overall it was definitely worth the read.

Required reading for the true fan
This story is one of the best Warhammer 40k stories out there. My first time through I had to wait to read the sequels, but now I'm able to continue one story to the next and this epic tale has a lot of story left. I hope you take the time to enjoy these books, you won't regret it.

Good sequel to Xenos
Fast-paced and a fun read. The end failed for me as it seemed rushed closed much too quickly compared to the pace of the rest of the book. Probably needed a chapter or two more to keep the same rhythm.

Excellent series
One of the best written series in the entire black library. Would absolutely recommend to any warhammer 40k fan to have.

One of the better Warhammer books
It's not bad and definitely has its moments. Can be funny and entertaining, although the whole twist part was a bit painful. I'm still not a huge fan of Abnett's style but it's starting to grow on me. It's an improvement from Xenos, especially when it comes to the way he writes female characters. (As in some women other than Bequin are in it and contribute to the story and only one gets fridged). I still want to finish the series.
