The worst thing on the market
The worst thing on the market. I have contacted the seller no response. The vacuum just goes around in the same circle and if it hit the wall that is where it will stay. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I HAVE CONTACTED THE BETTER BUSINESS BUEARU.

The little engine that could and sometimes couldn't.....
The media could not be loaded. There are things to like about this vacuum and some things that just aren't ready for primetime. I have to say that with its sapphire blue top and technological runway-like lights, it is one of the prettiest vacuums of its kind. And, as you can see from the attached video, I put it to the "shelter kitten test" and she seems to be getting a kick out of spot cleaning mode. She wasn't as happy with the general cleaning. :)The main function of this is to clean floors and it seems to do that reasonably well. Send it on its way either to do some spot cleaning (spot cleaning is shown in the attached video) or all over cleaning. With spot cleaning it really is obsessively good. It starts with a tiny circle and rotates out more and more in the general area where you want it to clean. General cleaning is good as well. It certainly cleans the floor well but it seems to suffer a bit from a vacuum cleaner's version of ADD. It goes all over but there doesn't seem to be any method to its madness. I tested this in my photo studio because this is the room that has next to no furniture. The Jisiwei seems to have found whatever furniture there was and made valiant attempt to move things around. Heavy duty light stand was moved about six inches. When it approaches these items that it wants to move it almost takes on a human persona. And speaking of human persona.... when you turn this thing on you are greeted with a voice reminiscent of Barbara Eden in I Dream of Genie as it says "Hello Master." Sometimes I turn it off and on just to hear that greeting. I've always wanted to be a master of something. So, the cleaning is good. Barring a few bumps and missteps it really does pick up the dirt. I was afraid that it would fall down stairs so I didn't test it on the stairs but I tested it on a smaller drop -- a 3 inch saddle from one room into another. The Jisiwei when to the edge and stopped itself. While that is good, I was concerned that it just stopped. Period. it didn't back up and go a different way. One of my favorite things to do (besides turning it on to welcome me) is to send it back to the charger. I love to watch it negotiating its way back. It doesn't always get in perfectly which is another concern I have. It means you can't leave this to come and go on its own because it might not get back home successfully. The app that supposedly works with this vacuum is just not ready for prime time. This vacuum comes equipped with a camera which is always on when the vacuum is on. It's a great idea but there are two problems with it... When the Jisiwei is charging, the camera is facing the charging dock so all you see is the dock. And when the jisiwei is runnnig around your house, the refresh rate is fairly slow and the images are pretty dreadful. The app comes with three settings... "Ultra HD" "HD" and "Smooth" I haven't seen any discernible differences between the three settings and all of them are equally awful. So if you are purchasing this for its camera, look elsewhere. In general the app needs a lot of work so I don't bother with it. The remote that comes with the vacuum works just fine and that's what I use.I was sent this at no charge for the purpose of reviewing. The question I have to ask myself is whether I would pay the current price (around four hundred dollars) for this if I hadn't received it at no cost and the answer is no. This isn't my first robotic vacuum. I had one of the early incarnations of these round robots and have been following their evolution waiting for one that has all the bugs worked out. This one isn't it but it cleans well and is fun to play with. I've been vacillating between 3 and 4 stars. If my feelings about it change over time I will update my star rating.BOTTOM LINE: This vacuum does a pretty decent cleaning job but it is not without its major quirks. If you buy it don't bother with the app unless they seriously improve it. Also, prepare to be frustrated by the instruction "manual" which needs some serious translation help.UPDATE a few weeks later: This vacuum just isn't quite there. It gets stuck often even in fairly open space. I've tried to cajole the camera to work but it just doesn't want to give me any decent images. True the vacuum is still good at picking up dirt, but you can forget about programming it because it just isn't reliable when left on its own. I so so so want to love it but I just don't. And at four hundred dollars it should be a cut above some of the competition. Three stars it is.

Name "Jisiwei" Sounds Raunchy, But the Vacuum Is a Lot of Fun
The media could not be loaded. The name of this product has had my whole family laughing, but the vacuum itself is no joke. It's a cool, playful little copy of the original robot vacuum cleaners that were so popular in the late 1990s. With modern tech, this little vac steps it up a notch:- you can control it with the app on your device or with the remote (either way)- it finds its home station for charging when the battery gets low- the dust bag is easy to empty (if small; they all are small on these things)- and it even talks to you "I'm ready to clean master!" or something like that ... like I said, it's a lot of fun- it even has an on-board camera, so you can see what the vac sees via the app ... and it even has a few intruder alert settings (which I haven't tried)Like all robot vacuum cleaners, I've found that this one does better when the floor is wide open and free of things like shoes, chairs, and trash cans. One cool setting is "spot clean" which will clean the surrounding area wherever you put the vac down. I like that, as it's a good way to deal with habitually dusty entry ways and the like.Nothing will take the place of cleaning by hand, I think, but this vac takes the edge off by getting the lion share of the dust off our wood floors.I received this item for free with the understanding that I would post an honest, unbiased review based on my own opinions and perspectives.

Piece of Crap
Do not buy this garbage! To use it is necessary to connect through wi-fi. They provide three methods to connect in their app but i tried all twice and none ever worked. And if you try to see the settings it just says "please select a device first". So it is impossible to use the camera or select one of the operation modes. The remote control allows you to control the vacuum cleaner manually or to order it to clean automatically. The vacuum cleaner avoids frontal collisions with walls but otherwise follows an apparent random path. It is very noisy and after a random number of minutes between 1 and 10 it stops with an error E005. After you clean the brush the vacuum cleaner stops with E005 again after 1 to 10 minutes. If you clean the brush or just turn the vacuum cleaner on again seems to have no effect on the time it takes to stop. This piece of crap is nearly useless.
