Could have been worthy!
The book is an overload of information in microscopic reading material. The first page is disturbing in number of Jewish deaths ranging from "five to six million" to using "Germans" (page 70) instead of "Nazis" as the officials of this event ...you begin to wonder if author does not have reference to over 4000 previous books on data and inference. As a graphic presentation it is too much on a small page. What could have been a wonderful for students just does not hit the mark. In comic book size and a lower cost this could have been the textbook for those who have no idea of this event and/or for "English as a second language" students.

A good start.
It was a decent read. The last few pages took a turn south when the author went off about the PLO the the issues there.

Horrific descriptions of the organized and "efficient " murder of Jews by the Germans and many of the ge real populations of eastern Europe.
I did not agree with much of the authors opinions in the addendum to the book.I would recommend this book to those interested the intricacies of the holocaust.

Introducing the Holocaust
This book had some compelling viewpoints to consider. More analytical than personal stories. I would give it a four star rating.

Very informative, disturbing
I learned a great deal. It is concise and to the point. The numbers are staggering, but there is no reason to doubt them.

Good READ
A good explanation of the Holocaust. A general introduction of the horrors of the Nazi’s final solution of the Jews.

I learned things I did not know. Will likely purchase for my library.
Would recommend this book to people both familiar and unfamiliar with Holocaust studies. I never knew there were trains that went straight to the crematoria. The Aftermath is particularly important because it speaks of how traumatized Israelis have become executioners.

Great Resource
Great Resource for anyone interested in the motivation, implementation, and personal cost of a dark period in world history. Could be used by college students or casual historians alike.

Nice
Best book to know the history of Holocaust in brief. The atrocities jews went through is described aptly and concisely

Fine for basic facts but poor analysis
The first chapters provide a useful outline of how the Nazis developed their state death machine and the ideology that drove them. When the book turns to a discussion of Israel, the author goes into a bizaare analysis of the country's response that reads like psycho-babble. Ruins the educational potential of the book..
