These shoe boxes went together very simply. They have organized all of my shoes in such a way that now I look forward to putting my shoes away after wearing them. The shoe boxes were not flimsy as some reviewers claimed. I stacked them three high and were pleased with the result. These boxes are not designed to support heavy weight. But they do a good job of stowing my dressy boots.

I gave this product 5 stars because it accomplished what I wanted to accomplish for a favorable price compared to research I’ve done on similar products. So for me, it works. For people interested in this product and reading reviews, I want to be helpful:Assembly: Requires patience, especially on the first couple. Not for those who easily get frustrated. While trying to assemble the first box, I thought for sure I would returning but I stuck with it, and they got easier as I went on. Took me an hour to assemble the 12 boxes and stack as shown in the pictures.Display: If you are looking to “display” your prized sneaker or heals collection, this is not the product as you can see from my images. The clear boxes are not so clear as you can see. Theres a cross web likely for sturdiness. Again, this was okay with me because I was simply trying to protect my shoes, and get them stacked rather the taking up space on the floor.Size: After opening the box and seeing the door size, I thought for sure I’d have to return. I missed the top to bottom size when determining whether or not to purchase, but it’s clearly in the product images, and it’s only 6” for the XL version (5” for the regular). My highest sneaks are Jordan 4s. These JUST fit and I had to put them in sideways through the door, then flip upright. I am not sure how tall high heals go, but take note if you wear them. My Timberlands and Nike ACGs will not fit in these.Takeaways: If you want to display your shoe collection, this is not for you. If you have shoes or sneakers over 6” tall, this is not for you. If you want to protect your shoes/sneakers completely, be able to stack them to save floor space, and are willing to take the time to assemble, this is a great cost effective solution.

My sister has like 80 shoes and when I went over to her house each set were in clear boxes from the container store. I looked them up online and they are like $35 each! I looked for a more affordable option and these were perfect. $39.99 for 12, amazing. When assembled together they are strong and sturdy. My boyfriend said he was very surprised because it’s made of plastic that you have to fold to put together and then you put the doors on. He thought it was going to be flimsy but when put together it’s really an amazing product. Turned my messy closet into an organized one. I put 4 stars because it was cumbersome to assemble maybe took me about 50 minutes to put together. But they are very good. I don’t believe I’ll even upgrade to a better brand when u get paid, I’ll just use these and buy more when needed. I was very happy because they fit these large ankle boots that I have, they also fit my boyfriend’s large sneakers and dress shoes. Very spacious. I definitely recommend.

I'm really impressed with the engineering of these lightweight boxes! I'm glad I watched the video, because otherwise I might have thought over heavier weight. All you have to do is unfold the boxes to make them from a flat box into the rectangle, fold the tabs to a right angle from the boxes, and then the ends snap right on. I mean it's really a satisfying snap sound, and it's very easy. I did it while I was watching a TV show. They're quite strong, and every one went together flawlessly, no mistakes at all in their manufacturing. Seriously perfectly made!Do those people who had a problem putting them together, there's a QR code so you can watch a video if you didn't watch it on the Amazon listing. And when you're trying to put the end pieces on, just tip the box up on one end so you can put the other end on. Once you get one corner in, just match up the other corner and they snap right together. So easy! I actually enjoyed putting them together. My husband tested the mechanism that holds one box on top of the other, shook it around a little bit, and he was very surprised with their hold.
