Not Optically Correct
The distance portion of the lens was not optically correct. As soon as I put these on, everything in the distance looked slightly larger and mildly out of focus. I wore them for three hours, hoping I would get used to them, but they began to feel fatiguing, like I was wearing someone else’s prescription glasses. Everything else about them wonderful. Perhaps it’s because I’m older and can’t adjust to small changes in diopter strength. When using Guideline sunglasses I never experienced any change in my distance vision. The return process was easy.

Amber hue, gentle polarization, bifocal area too small
They have the amber hue I was looking for, but maybe not as dark as I like, but I find I'm getting used to them. The bifocal lines are still a bit bothersome for me and they always give me the impression they are scratched along the bottom because of them. I cannot use these with my phone, the bifocal area is just too small. I find it useful for a few things, but definitely not the phone, it just makes my eyes go wiggy. They aren't as sporty looking as I had hoped, not like the O2O glasses are, which are smoking cool on your face. These are modest and have a fair look, but they won't win any hot bod contest. I think they are bit expensive, they had better be highly scratch resistant for the cost. They come with a hard, banana-shaped clamshell to keep them in, but with the clamshell, they are just too big to fit in even my biggest coat pocket. The polarization is not as bothersome on these as some other brands, and it occurs to me that the polarization may be the reason the phone bothers me while wearing these. The dashboard is not viewable without tilting you head far back to where your eyes leave the road. Overall they seem to fit well on my wide head, but there's a few things about them that bother me. I guess I like them, but I'm not raving about them either.

Pretty big glasses for my average size head.
The glasses are 5 ¾” across from earpiece to earpiece. I wish this had been included in the item description. Had I known that, I would not have ordered them because they were about ¾” wide on my face. The quality, style, and hard case appeared to be about what you would expect for the $50 price tag. I sent mine back though because my wife’s first reaction when I tried them on was “you look like a bug.” Needless to say, if I had harbored any hope that they didn’t look too big, her comment dispelled that hope. The bifocal portion was etched into the lenses and worked great. I suggest that you measure a pair of glasses that you currently have and that you believe fit your face well, and base your decision on the purchase of these after considering that measurement.

Good value
Received on time, and fit description. Similar to typhoon sunglasses I’ve had, with bifocal that I really liked, because driving or reading are easy without changing glasses - just right for small print, tying fishing knots, and bright sun vision. Nosepiece adjusts, and lenses wrap well to prevent glare and protect from blowing dust or sand. Most important to me is an email from the president of aloha eyes asking if i am satisfied - I’ll trust that is sincere and probably get another pair to leave in our second car! I’ve shopped a lot for bifocal sunglasses and these seem with the price.

Great for on the water
I bought these to replace a pair of prescription sunglasses that blew off while I was reeling in a fish. These fit snuggly and the polarized lenses really reduce the glare on the water. The bifocal feature is adequate for reading a book but not as good for viewing my chart plotter. I put on my regular specs for that. A good buy at $50 considering the cost of polarized prescription glasses.

Bifocals for Fishing
I wanted a pair of polarized bifocals for fishing. If your a fisherman you'll know what Polarized lenses will do for you. With getting "a little" older my eyes are not what they used to be and I was having trouble threading line. These glasses are perfect! They are light, comfortable and look good. The first time I wore them my friends loved them and said they were going to get a pair.If you are looking for a pair of bifocal polarized sunglasses you wont go wrong with these.

Glasses were very good quality, unfortunately the reason I bought the readers was to read my cell phone while out biking and exercising. The Polaroid makes it very hard to read the phone unless you rotate it 90°, so I returned them.

Perfect for Golf while working...sort of.
Exactly what I was looking for to play golf with. I can view my cell phone, check email etc. These are sooo much better than applying stick on readers to my other sunglasses. The reader lens is recessed within the main lens which makes cleaning a breeze without having to worry about the reader lenses coming off. Thanks for an excellent product!!
