Hozelock Ltd 3 x Non Return Outdoor Tap Connector

If you have an outside tap and use a pressure washer then this is an essential bit of kit, as it prevents the push back of water into your pipes. It just screws onto most (if not all) your outside tap, ensure you put on tight, but do not overtighten, then fit on hose that will feed to your pressure washer. Jobs a good un.Well recommended, if a little pricey.

Will fit two sizes of outdoor water supply taps and recommended for use when using Pressure Washers. Fitted one way valve to stop interference with domestic water supply. Works well and quite well built. Not had much use yet but will always use when Pressure Washer is connected to outside tap.

Heavy water leak from screw hole on the side. Contacted Hozelock who were unhelpful other than suggesting I could buy new seals from them. Looked at my water company's web site and couldn't find any requirement for these valves. Really a waste of money. I would suggest you only get one if necessary and if so then find a a better product.

The old one I had for around 20 years but it started to leak slightly so I purchased a new one. Easy to fit and works well. In the past it's been great with a power washer and hosepipe. On fitting the new one I subsequently found that it was a washer on the connection that had worn down so I didn't actually need the new one but I will keep the old one as a spare. Still a good buy.

We have been looking all over our Town for one of these valves but could not find any of these any where .What a surprise to find one on Amazon. I had even asked for one in our garden centre and was told that they had been discontinued by the manufactured.. These non return fits the tap very easily and the flow from the tap is a good steady flow , this will be great when we start to mix weed killers etc. You can nearly always depend on Amazon for things that are not available else where.

Initially thrown as the valve did not fit the tap head and the end looked fixed but after re-reading the technical specification went back and found that the end did unscrew to fit the correct size for my tap.Needed a bit of brute strength to unscrew the fitting.Having said this the valve appears to function as expected but I'll take it off for Winter to stop it splitting due to the frost/cold temperatures.

I bought this to use with my pressure washer however when I connected it up to outside tap it started to leak at the join. I've had to use a standard hozelock tap connector instead which works fine

Quite a lot of the plastic And expensive for what it is
