In the Wonderland of Numbers

Very nice information about numbers in a very fun and interesting way. I will Recommend to all school going kids.

I can see the author's love for the numbers and how eager she was to explain that tgere is nothing to worry about nunbers being scary. I wish i read this book a little early, but never late. The language is simple and a 7 year old can read it too.

I would recommend this book to parents for their children as inspiration not only for good night fairy tales. It has nice storyline with good amount of basic math operations. Pleasant for soul and mind.

she is supposed to be a math savant and I thought this book would give some insight into math. I'm not sure if it is her life story or a fairy tale. The facts in the book are not the same as what I read about her on the internet.

It makes maths a fun subject.It actually very useful for kids

I am going to teach my kids the numbers this way: to observe patterns within and through out the numbers.

Das Wunderland der Zahlen erzählt die Geschichte eines kleinen Mädchens, das durch ihre neue Mathelehrerin komplett den Spaß an den Zahlen verliert, und ihn auf göttliche Weise wiedergewinnt.Die ganze Geschichte ist stark auf die indische Lebenswelt zugeschnitten, und hat dadurch einen ganz eigenen Charme, auf den man sich aber auch einlassen muß.Shakuntala "the human Computer" Devi, die indische Rechenkünstlerin, hat einige Bücher veröffentlicht, in denen sie Kindern spielerischen Zugang zur Welt der Zahlen vermittelt. Da es das Buch aber nur auf englisch gibt ist es hier eher für Erwachsene geeignet, die vielleicht eine eigene Mathe-Blockade aufgeben wollen (oder sie zumindest nicht in die nächste Generation tragen wollen).

Enjoyed reading it.Interested to read more of her books.Definitely worth spending time for children or their well wishers.

It is a good read for children. They can learn a lot from this book.
