Champion Drill Bits
I really like these Champion bits. I own several sizes in this brand and style and I find them hard to beat. They seem to last forever. They are very brittle, but I mainly use a drill-press. I'll at least break one every time I use a hand drill if I am drilling a hard material.I am very pleased with them and will continue buying them.

Low price per bit for cobalt
Good for drilling stainless steel. Whenever I tap holes in steel I use my #8-32 tap to standardize on a screw sizes, and I use these drill bits to drill the holes. Because there is 12 of them, I can break one and not worry. Very cheap price for the amount of cobalt bits.

Really good quality, hold their shape and don't break easily.
These are some substantially high quality drill bits. They hold their shape and don't bend under high rpm which allows for very high precision drilling. I'm actually using these to make custom circuit boards for a zilog z80 computer build which requires an incredibly fine level of precision. They don't break very easily but can get slightly bent fairly easily. This may not even be a problem if extreme precision isn't a concern for you. Luckily, they're quite reasonably priced for what I'm doing so if you have hundreds of holes in a plastic circuit board to drill and need high precision like me, get yourself 2 or 3 packs.

Great drill bits!
Drilled out 2 broken bits using this Cobalt bit. Used different cobalt bits but these are the only ones that worked

Excellent Performance
I put this bits to the test on a project with some scratch resistant steel and steel alloy materials. These bits did the job very well. I will order these in the future for other projects

Works on Aluminum & mild steel
I used this to bore sheet aluminum & mild steel angle for riveting. It worked well at a slow drill speed. It was tough enough that the bit did not break as some can. Recommended for that application.

As expected
I used these to drill holes in homemade circuit boards and the drill bits worked as expected. Surprisingly tough for their small size.

Best drill bits I've ever used.
I'm not sure why these only have a 3.9 overall rating. These are the best drill bits I've ever used. They cut like no other. I haven't drilled any stainless yet; but every steel Ive drilled they pull a continuous ribbon of metal while they cut, not chips. Super sharp, super durable, and perfect cutting geometry. I first found them years ago at a very small, one off local hardware store. They only carry the HSS Champions now and they are trash compared to the cobalt. I now have a full set of 6 or 12 packs of every size from 1/8th to 1/2 in 1/16th increments. I have no need for anything under 1/8th and I don't need anything as precise as 1/64th increments. Yeah, it was about a $300 investment but the sets of everything from 1/16 to 1/2 x 1/16th is 135 and the 1/16 through 1/2 x 64th is 256 and you only get one of each size. Having 6-12 of each size that I actually use will make it a whole lot easier to retire bits and this set will probably last the rest of my life.
