The iMBA transmitter/relay was easy to install and worked well for about 15 months. I recommend installing a kill switch in a discreet location so if it fails you can start your vehicle. I may purchase another iMBA although I dont need the extra remotes just so I can have peace of mind. I have a 99 F250 which is an easy vehicle to steal even with an alarm system so this gives me peace of mind. The picture is a thief on my security camera that broke into my truck but couldnt steal it because of my iMBA. Funny how someone would want to steal a 99 F250 that needs a paint job and has 220k miles on it.

Absolutely would recommend this product. I installed some LED's under my car to set my car a bit different from my fellow Lyft drivers and so my riders could find me at night in the dark. I drive a newer Ford Fusion which I absolutely enjoy driving but trying to find a way through the firewall to run the electrical wires connecting 12v power, an on/off switch to the LED's was an exercise in futility.I spent a couple days on line in different ford sites looking for someone who had already scouted and found passage through ,what I experienced to be, the impenetrable firewall. I found someone who said they found a grommet behind the battery but I couldn't even get my hand close to being able to insert a tool to make a hole let alone a guild wire. I remembered seeing other higher priced LED kits that came with an RF remote. I wanted to stay within a budget and the kits that came w/remotes were higher than what I wanted to spend., after everything I purchased to complete the install (wire harness with switch. relay, connectors, zip ties) the iMBAPrice was/is cheaper and it works fantastic and at quite a distance farther than my alarm remote

Compact and easy to use. Used to turn on/off speaker and led lights.

I installed this in my bathroom's overhead exhaust in my RV , the reason for 4 stars is I had to make the antenna wire stationary if I left laying on the screen it moved from one side to the other and would not work sometimes.

I have a mobile sharpening service from a 2006 Ford panel van. I sharpen knives, scissors and garden tools and make appointments with my clients. Yesterday I was heading to a Sushi bar to sharpen their knives and the van wouldn't start.Let me explain how I came onto this product. My van was stolen on Jan. 19, 2016 and fortunately I was able to recover the van after all my equipment and benches were ripped from the van, over $9,000 loss. I set out to secure the van to the hilt so I didn't have to go through this again. I installed a Viper anti-theft alarm, two kill switches, steering wheel club and puck locks on the cargo doors.This product was the kill switch controlled by the remote key fob on my key chain. It worked great for six weeks, but it only has to fail once to ruin your day. Not only did it fail once, but twice just before I had important customer appointments. I had this switch installed by professional who have been in the business for over 35 years.I had my van towed to their facility the first time it failed and when the van was dropped off it worked properly. Rather hard for the technician to find a problem that doesn't exist. The very next day it failed again and the van was again the van was towed to the professional's facility and they pinned it down to the relay. I had the device disconnected so I will not be left stranded again.I have two other kill switches, one built into the Viper alarm and a back-up hidden toggle switch. I would not use it for any function that could leave you stranded.

I wired these up so that activating them permits ignition system to work. First unit installed in 2015. Recently someone tried to steal my truck but was unsuccessful. They could not get past the immobilizer and the locked hood. In the process they damaged some ignition wiring and the ignition switch. While doing that repair, I installed a new immobilizer as it looked like some of the wires were probed. But the 2015 unit was still working.

Nice, compact.Wished it was a two-channel version.
