I have a YouTube channel that I use for various travel tips and needed to improve the audio rather than just use my phone.I originally picked this due to the low price so I could test and decide what features I would need before then buying a more expensive top brand option. No need now!! For what you get and the extra performance it gives to my videos i’ve just found a brilliant bargain.Firstly it just works. Straight out of the box my iPhone (uses the lightening to 3.5mm adapter that came with my phone) recognises it and syncs the audio to the video (I thought I would have do some post editing work). It then produces loud and clear audio enhancing my vlogs.The audio is good. My voice is clear but yet still picks up a bit of surround sound so maintains atmosphere. It comes with a little wind cover that allows all the sounds you want to be picked up but eliminates that wind muffle that often ruins some of the work.Finally despite the low price it is still very well made. It comes with a metal clip that has a nice feeling strong spring that feels like it will always stay in place regardless how much I move about and has a nice protective pouch.Why pay anymore? Highly recommended.

I ran this for an interview I did, and recorded directly into my phone from it as the B Cam.It blew my shotgun mic out of the water at a quarter of the price. You may have to do a bit of tweeking in post, but for the price just as good as any Lav out there.Case is also great for packing and travelling

Used this mic around 5 times in total and I've tried to use it today, unfortunately, my camera and my audio interface cannot pick it up. It will not let me return the item for replacement due to it being outside 30 days, despite it saying 'Guaranteed quality and performance with a no-quibble UK LIFETIME WARRANTY'.Would go for something a bit better and save the hassle.

Bought the mic to use for videoconferencing / broadcasting, having been appalled at the sound quality of a TV broadcast I did.Absolutely delighted with my purchase. The mic is branded Boya, which is a respected Chinese electronics firm. The battery housing is precision-engineered metal and very solid. The neat mic has a foam cover and a very strong lapel clip. There is a 20 ft length of cable.Sound quality is excellent and a massive improvement on the built-in mics of my iPad and laptop.Highly recommended. Buy it; you won’t regret it.
