must have maintenance and cleaning kit
I bought this thinking I was just getting a maintenance kit to help me mount a scope and maintain a long gun, but i was surprised to find this kit has an almost overwhelming amount of tools and uses that span far beyond just long guns! I'm extremely impressed and will be buying more fixit stick components separately to add to my current kit as it comes with plenty of extra slots for additional tools for other weapons. I would highly recommend this product to any serious shooter who wants an all in one weapon maintenance kit. Well worth the money!

Quality, Convenient, Compact Tool Kit with High-Quality Torque Drivers/Limiters
This review is for Fix It Sticks Long Range Competition Tool Kit with Individual Torque Limiters. I came across Fix It Sticks when I was looking for good quality torque driver. Fix It Sticks/Sloky (Sloky is the actual maker of the torque drivers & torque limiters for Fix It Sticks, and their name is only marked on the torque drivers/limiters.) was one of the names that kept coming up in my search of written and video reviews. Wheeler F.A.T. Stix would have been my second choice. They also came up highly recommended, but in some head-to-head reviews that I looked at the edge went slightly to Fix It Sticks/Sloky. The only other torque tools that I could find that were of higher quality were a huge jump up in cost, multiple times higher in cost actually. That made Fix It Sticks/Sloky the highest quality torque tools I could find before going into crazy money. This Fix It Sticks Long Range Competition Toolkit is very nice. The carrying case is more compact that I thought it was going to be for how many items are in it, and the overall weight of the toolkit is lighter than expected as well. The carrying case is very high quality. The material is thick and well-constructed. They even use a quality YKK double-zipper. It has a Velcor patch on one side. Inside is a roomy mesh pocket that also has seven elastic loops for holding tools. Three of the elastic loops are used for the driver and two bubble levels. The included microfiber cloth is also stored in the mesh pocket. Then there is the sewn-in, double-sided, center piece that holds the bits and cleaning rods. On the rear interior is Velcro/magnetic plate that can be removed and attached to the Velcro patch on the outside font of the case. There is also an included card holder with card for writing down torque values inside the case. The one complaint that I have about the case is that not all of the bits retain that well into the plastic holders. There are always a few bits that fallout from the holders and are loose in the kit.The ratchet T-handle with locking hex drive is very high quality. The shaft is removable if you want to seat the bit directly to the black collar for a shorter driver. You can also attach the shaft to the side of the T-handle to make the tool more versatile. The magnets are very strong in this ratchet as well. I didn't particularly find the ratcheting feature to be all that useful, but it will help you from damaging the torque limiters or drivers. If you try to use the torque limiters or drivers to unscrew something, you will damage them. The kit I have comes with the individual torque limiters for 65, 45, 25, and 15 in/lb. They are very accurate and very easy to use. You just put the torque limiter into any 1/4" ratchet or driver, place any pit into the limiter, and turn tighten the screw until you hear a small click. The magnets in these are very strong. Infact they are so strong that it can be hard to remove the bits from them. I also have the All-in-One Torque Driver (15-65 in/lb) and the Mini All-in-One Torque Driver (6-25 in/lb). You won't go wrong with choosing the torque limiters or torque drivers. The torque drivers will save you money and allow you to approximate more in/lb values, as they require you to watch the scale as you turn the driver. The torque limiters are more convenient to use since you just turn until they click. You can only use the torque bits to tighten screws. If you overtighten or use them to unscrew, you will damage the torque bits. Now on to the individual bits. I found them to be very good quality. They are not cheap/junky ones that you find in low-end tool kits. I don't think I would call them top (by top I mean at the high-end) quality, but I would say they are better than average and very good. I own some Milwaukee Shockwave Impact Duty bits that seem like they are higher quality, but I did wind up jumping out of a hex screw hole and stripping it with them. I don't know if I wasn't applying enough downward pressure or if it was the bit. I switched to the same Fix It Sticks hex bit, applied significant downward force, and I didn't have an issue. So, I don't know if the difference was me or the bit, but it does lead me to further confirm that at a minimum, the Fix It Sticks bits are good quality. Further speaking about the bits, my bits are different material that what is shown in the listing on Amazon. Mine look identical to what is shown on the Fix It Sticks website. Also, it would be better if the pin punches were brass instead of steel. The one bit that is not steel is the one bronze scraper.I am not a fan of the stainless steel rod set, and that's solely because I would have preferred it be brass. If the rod is stainless steel and barrel is stainless steel, the rods can scratch the barrel. This issue doesn't really come up of the rod is made of brass (brass is softer than stainless steel). The Ratchet T-Handle does attach to the rod set, by the way.The bubble level set is very nice and very good quality. One bubble level is magnetic for attaching to the scope, and the other bubble level has a mount for attaching to the Picatinny rail. Even by itself, this bubble level set is great for mounting scopes. Here are some other thoughts about this kit and Fix It Sticks. Overall, I would rate this kit 4.5 stars, so I am going to round it to 5 stars. I have no problem recommending any of the Fix It Sticks items to anyone. Nothing is sub-par in terms of quality. These are not inexpensive tools, but the value is there. I thought I was going to have buyer's remorse after how much I spent, but I have no buyer's remorse at all. The value, the quality, and the convenience is there. Do I feel that this kit is perfect? I would have to say that there is room for small/tiny improvements (most of which I have discussed above). For my usage, I think the Fix It Sticks 3 Gun Competition Toolikit and a Fix It Sticks Optics Bubble Level Set would have served me better. I also wouldn't mind getting my hands on the Fix It Sticks Field Armorer's Toolkit with Individual Torque Limiters. If you are not going to be using these tools in the field, then the Fix It Sticks Benchtop Toolkit is also a great choice, and one I might consider as well. Infact, if you often do work or are in the trade, then I would say the Benchtop Toolkit would be a necessary set that would serve you extremely well. If you need a field tool kit, then I don't think there are any better choices than Fix It Sticks.

This is a great tool kit rated for inch pounds.
This kit has all of the common tools needed for working on scopes, pickatinny rails and other rifle furniture that you'll want to add. Tool kit can be used for other items such as remote control aircraft where screws need inch pounds instead of foot pounds.
