Great for under the desk at work!
I like to raise my seat higher for ergonomics with typing and the footrest is great for that. Plus, when I take my shoes off the rollers feel nice. It is plastic, so not super sturdy feeling, but I don’t put much weight on it and for me it works great.

Easy to assemble and comfortable
I love that it's adjustable and light. It doesn't look very sturdy but works great for me - I put this on a carpet and don't have worry about the carpet being crushed.

Solid overall. Slightly overpriced for the quality though.
Overall it gets the job done. The included pad is comfortable and at its highest height, it’s high enough for my needs. I personally don’t find much need for the plastic foot massage rollers and bumps using it without the pad, but I guess it’s nice that they’re there. Not sure I’d ever use them for their intended purpose as they’re hard plastic, but I imagine I’ll appreciate it if I ever have itchy feet. The stool also stays in place which is nice. I’m using it on a hardwood floor and I’m a bigger guy and it doesn’t move around on me. The rubber pads on the bottom are doing their job.Giving 4 stars instead of 5 for a few reasons:1. The overall build quality is adequate and isn’t bad, but it doesn’t feel premium either. It feels more like something I’d pay 20 bucks for vs 35. The plastic isn’t flimsy but any means but it also isn’t the strongest plastic in the world. It’s sturdy enough for the job though, just don’t expect a premium feel to it and don’t try and stand on it or anything. In its new condition the pad seems pretty nice though.2. While the stool doesn’t move, the pad struggles to stay put. The pad comes with two Velcro straps on either side, but the stool itself only has a corresponding strip on one side. At first I thought I received a stool with a QC error, but reviewing the images on its listing, it seems like it’s only meant to have it on one side.So relating to my first point, this feels like a cost cutting maneuver not befitting the price tag. If this was 10-20 bucks I’d understand the cost shavings. At 35 bucks, not putting a second strip so the pad could secure itself on both ends seems really cheap and unnecessary. They do recommend not using the pad on the highest setting, but doing so would render the stool rather useless for me as I need it at its highest height with my chair and desk settings. And really that’s no excuse to skimp out on a second Velcro strip on the other side of the stool…3. Adjusting it requires unscrewing the pegs that hold it at its current setting. It’s not a huge deal, and not something I care about as I’ll be leaving it at its highest setting. But if you did want to use this in multiple positions frequently, I imagine that process would become a little annoying. Again, this is a characteristic that I’d find more forgivable at the 20 dollar price range, but at 35, it feels slightly cheap/corner cutting. But overall, this stool will do the trick. Just wish the value matched the price tag a little better. So be aware of these minor issues if you’re paying the full 35 for it and decide how much they’re likely to bother you before purchasing. If you see it for around 20 bucks or less I’d say it’d be a better deal and definitely worth the drawbacks. But at 35, some of these things could be a deal breaker depending on how irked you are by them. Overall I’m fine with the purchase though and will be keeping it.

Sturdy and Worth the Price
I've gone through 2 prior footrests before finding this one. It has held up for more time than the others combined and still going strong. Definitely recommend!!Update 14 months later: it broke. The left side broke off. 😭

Great Foot Stool, Needs reinforcing.
I really have enjoyed using this. I have short legs that don't touch the ground if I'm sitting in a chair appropriately. It's also helpful to "captain morgan" when using my standing desk. Unfortunately it broke in half in the middle. It's just plastic, so seems it needs some reinforcing. Disappointed as I really liked using this.

Great Sturdy and Adjustable Foot Stool
I am over 6’ tall and weigh over 230 lbs. The first footrest that I purchased (and returned) was a top rated pillow foot support. Unfortunately, the product did not provide much support for my lower-back because it was too squishy. On the other hand, this stool is sturdy and adjustable with the option to have a pillow top—an option I selected. I used the height adjustment recommended by the manufacturer and the height has been perfect.I have 1/2 inch compression fractures on L4 and L5 respectively. Until recently, the cold and damp winter weather here has significantly limited how long I am able to sit comfortably at my desk. With proper adjustment and positioning, this foot rest has provided excellent lower back support and has extended the length of time I am able to sit comfortably by about fifty percent. The improvements in my posture has also reduced the strain on my wrists when working on my laptop.I was pleasantly surprised at how much this product has helped my back comfort and overall productivity. I highly recommend it—especially to people with lower back issues.

Literally broke in half
I bought this thing about 2 years ago, so sure, it lasted 2 years, but seriously? Unless I'm standing on it and doing stupid stuff with it, it should last me forever - it's a darn foot rest, I rest my feet on it while I work, that's it - ALSO, it's been CRACKED for MONTHS even, so I kept having to put my feet on the sides vs in the middle just to make sure it lasts longer, so this thing is so worthless and PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Broke almost immediately but can be repaired
This footrest feels flimsy, with the step being a thin plastic shell with a grid of molded in vertical supports on the underside that, given the direction the surface would flex if extra weight is put on it only serve to prevent it from bowing or curling when not in use. It of course broke almost immediately from just me resting my feet on it, but this kind of gave it an extra flexability that I was comfortable with so I continued using it. That flexability got more and more pronounced over time until I finally had to do something about it. I was able to fix it by cutting a 2x4 to the width of the footrest, taking the cushion off, and screwing some pan-head wood screws through the footrest into the 2x4 and replacing the cushion. Not so pretty or light as it used to be but it is still pretty comfortable.
